Just purchased one on Chewy for 214!!! Can’t wait for my baby beardie to have a bigger home. Right now he’s just in a 40 gallon breeder. Sure it’s fine for a baby but damn do beardies grow fast! Super excited!!
I have the same enclosure and I love it and I’m going to try to make it look this nice and beautiful like yours, thanks to your recommendations my bearded dragon feels happy
I have 2. I really like them. Although I wondered why my screws were sticking out inside. After watching this I’ve discovered we put the bottom on upside down 😂. Thank you for this video! Ummm I’ll be in the next room taking apart my enclosures 😂🤦🏼♀️
Thanks for the review! Picked one of these up for $199 which was cheaper than building one! Mounted Arcadia lights (46” UVB and two of their ceramic lamp holder brackets). Finishing building stand and then getting the beardie! So excited! Thanks again.
Random but I’m doing 2 home projects at the same time. Redoing my deck and building my enclosure. This is DEFINITELY composite decking!! I’m actually considering it for my deck and it’s guaranteed for 20 years…also snaps together and has those plastic screws! I’m actually now considering maybe I should have done this material for both projects. If it holds up outside with 20 years of foot traffic then it’s definitely holding up in an enclosure.
I just got mine before I seen your video! Really getting into the knowledge of Beardies. I started following FB group to learn more. Now I found you!! 👋 Really enjoy your insight and knowledge. P.S. haven't got my beardie yet but getting ready too!
I'm planning on getting this Enclosure very soon, but I think there's one minor thing that bugging about this is, how do you fit the wiring probe for the thermostat in the enclosure. I mean it looks like it can't even go through the sliding door cause the door wont be shut all the way. It makes it feel like I have to drill a hole on top of it just to put the wiring probe into the enclosure.
You would put it through the mesh screen top. Depending on the probe if it’s a normal sized one it goes through with ease but if it’s some special one that’s really big might have to cut some mesh a little bit I didn’t. I use the Zilla thermostat
Pretty cool you named your Bearded Dragon after me my name is Creede to. Thank you for your videos my son wants one for Xmas and your videos have helped me so much get prepared.
I don’t do drainage layers haven’t for years. Some plant people told me it’s an old myth and doesn’t do anything good for the plants actually causes root rot most of the time. Stopped and my plants grow crazy now.
I’ve been looking for affordable enclosures for a dragon and this looks like a top contender!!! I do have a random question tho,,, if I made a diy background on this modal( like the exspanding foam and coco fiber method) do you think it would hold that up? Even if I anchored drift wood to the walls? And would that spike the humidity to high for the beardy? I’m just trying to research as Much as I can before I get a bearded dragon and this channel is really helping me so I THOUHGT I’d ask! Keep up the great work!!!!
Thank you! Yes it would definitely hold it up but spread silicone all over the back of it so it has something to grip onto the walls are very smooth and the foam might not be able to grip it as good
For your homemade substrate do you usually bake the soil before ?.. I see some people say to do that but it might be ok not to if it doesn’t have added fertilizer?
If you add substrate to your bearded dragon enclosure do you have to add the isopods and make it bioactive or is that not required? Also how does this enclosure hold up? People say you shouldn’t use it for a bio active set up due to it being made off wood.
So this isn’t wood it’s like a plastic so will be fine. I have mine bioactive and it’s going on 8 months. Perfectly fine. Also you don’t have to add the isopods and stuff can do just substrate
so i just got mine and set it all up and i seen other videos about the uvb, i didnt order a arcadia 1 like you but i do have a 22in reptisun T5 HO Hood with a 10.0 UVB bulb, will that be good enough for the uvb to go through ?
Do you do anything special to prep the branches? I was wondering if I could find any outside to place but wasn't sure how to make sure I dont bring anything bad inside
I'm a newbie dragon owner. I bought this tank and plan on setting it up similar to yours. How often do you change the substrate? Do you just pick up droppings regularly? Thank you for the video it was very helpful in deciding what to get
Question i was gonna get this for my dragon it says the dimensions is 48x24x22 but says its only 95 gallons not 120 so wiuld it still work for an adult dragon? Just dont wanna get the wrong size
Yeah it’ll work people were complaining cause the inside is not 4x2x2 but we do not measure the 4x2x2 tanks by the inside but the outside. All 4x2x2s are not 120 on the inside. Just outside. This is one inch short cause mine measures 23 inches tall 24 inches wide and 48 inches long.

Definitely go for the 120 right off the bat nothing is too big she will be fine. I have raised tons of lizards in 120 gallon tanks at 1 month old. All grew up great!
also what lights did you use for this tank because im thinking about buying one soon. I saw 4 lights on the mesh if i could have the names and bulb watts please

Too expensive for something made of corrugated plastic(basically plastic cardboard 😅).
It feels much sturdier than lots of pvc enclosures though that was my biggest gripe with pvc enclosures. Basically a foam enclosure felt like I could snap em in half 😂
Jesus dude, take a Valium. Slow down.
Hmmm. I will stick to dubia i think.
Yes it’s a tough decision I will say. The benefits of dubia is also they stack
@ChiefSweetsUniverse I do have a question for you however. Is there any tips to make glass not so reflective? I got an all glass enclosure and instead of buying another dubia enclosure I was curious on how to make this one work to save some cash. Female beardie of mine has been going nuts and I believe it's due to the reflection and she wants to mate.
@@nightmarezero8465 yes I will post a video but what I do is get poster board and just tape it to the inside of the tank. All along the walls.
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thanks Chief appreciate it. Look forward to the next video!
@nightmarezero8465 also you can spray paint the sides like the aquarium fish hobby guys do As well. I painted mine a almond white and Mello my reptiles out
Have you ever taken one apart and put it back together? I was planning to buy this enclosure and the stand that goes with it but I am moving soon.
Oh yeah it is ok just screws back together
Would you recommend this for a ackie monitor?
Yeah this will work
@ thanks man appreciate your work love your channel
How’s it going! See you keep a lot of lizards I’m curious tho as far as bearded dragons go what would be your highest recommendation for an enclosure I see this is more for the budget side of things but I would like your take on in all in all bearded dragon setup if price wasn’t an issue thanks.
Yes most people like budget but as far as best goes these are some top notch stuff. customreptilehabitats.com/collections/recommended-products-bearded-dragons/products/evolution-4-pvc-reptile-enclosure?sca_ref=5220669.DN5L9gYFoN&
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thanks for the reply ! I’ve heard mixed reviews on PvC with bearded dragons something about they hold a lot of Heat do you currently have any bearded dragons in PVC?
