Tony D was a baller too. Played many pick up games with him at Rider College outside courts. Sometimes we got inside main gym. Saw Jerry Garcia and Steve Miller there.
I was the first person in Los Angeles listening to Tony D in my neighborhood,I played this,Droppin' Funky Verses and Harvee Wallbanger millions of times
RIP Tony D.- meet him in Philly at a Record Show here, he brought Vinyl from my booth back in 08'-cool ass dude-he laced me with a copy of Danger Zone Mobb-Tone Love's (Tuff Crew) new group's single- Flippin' Kilo's- Rare even for Philly.
I remember when Ice T gave us those Syndicate hats! What up Out, Troy Wonder, Lokey, L.A. Law, Rahzi, Cuba, Fyne, Lance, Dre, Wise, Culture Freedom, Shaheed.
(In Florida Evan's voice when James died) Damn! Damn! Damn! I heard this on the radio only once back in 1991 on WFUV in NYC. I recorded it on cassette tape.(Which I still have) I never knew who made this this and recently remembered about it so I decided to search for it. I got so happy when I found this video. Now i'm sad to hear that he passed away in 09. R.I.P. This joint brings back some good memories.
Marc Mashups Likewise! I heard and saw this video only once when I was 10 back in '90/'91. Since then, all I remembered was the lyric about Stove Top stuffing, him saying "Up Up and Away" and something about elevation. Low and behold, some 30 years later, I find this song. I almost thought I imagined this song. Crazy!
I don't know which video I saw this comment posted before but the dancer girls were a popular duo featured in a lot of videos maybe same girls from World Renown "How Nice I am"? What are their names? Their dances are awesome. Classic top rockin moves!
