  • I met up with local and out of town viewers on the river to get the steelhead. Steelhead seemed not active for the 20 minutes because I tried to figure it out what color should be getting strike. After I switched to chartreuse jig head, I got on the chartreuse and I told my viewer across me to try to use chartreuse, bug he used different jig head. I then decided to leave the spot and offered the spot to fellow angler from out of town. Hoping to have him get one, but he did not get anything. I went down the river and got one there. I came back to the spot and checked out with retiring professor. Everyone got the fish except professor. I decided that he needs to try crappy tube jig. He got one on his first cast. It was fun day everyone got the fish. We all used different jig heads so I listed in the video.

    Love the videos Kumbo. I have a question about why do you shake your rod while float fishing? Is it a good technique?

    • @kumbofishingusa
      @kumbofishingusa  Год назад

      Reasons: to mimic or imitate injury or dying bait fish or insects. The more I jig or twitch, the more actions triggering the fish to strike. I will do the video this technique. Thx u

    Will this work in any depth?

    • @kumbofishingusa
      @kumbofishingusa  Год назад +1

      Yes, you have to adjust base on the depth of body water you fish. I did do video on how to fish float crappy tube jig in the shallow water. Thx u

      I watch you fish in shallow water, but some of the rivers I fish in the holes are 10 ft deep so I adjust according to that? Do I try to keep it close to the bottom? Thank you
