I don't right now. I need to though. I'll through in some steps here for now. 1. you need to have QBO advanced 2. You go to the backup database area of QBO 3. Use the Copy feature to do this. note: you have to follow the rules for the copy to work. Don't skip any popup messages. Carefully read all the popup messages.
Hi Lance, I am new to fishbowl. I Have a business using quickbooks for transactions but manual recording inventory. We want to add fishbowl with our existing quickbooks. What videos would you recommend for starters for this transition? Thanks
Hey Nicolas, Thanks for commenting! I'm guessing you are asking this question in relation to this video. So, I'll answer the question this way: "no". Because, it sounds like you are asking if attaching a photo to a sales order in Fishbowl will push the photo to an invoice in QuickBooks. The answer would be, "no". Technically invoices don't even really exist in Fishbowl. A true invoice that is. Just documents to print out that say, "Invoice" on them. If, however, you are asking if a photo can be added to a document printed from Fishbowl, the answer would be, "yes". We can customize any document printed from Fishbowl to do almost anything. Let me know if that answers your question or if we should try again.
I accidentally deleted a payment from a sales order in which tax was paid. what will happen if I apply that payment again? is it mean we will have to pay tax again?
You will need multiple Fishbowl server application instances installed and running simultaneously to run multiple Fishbowl databases. Each Fishbowl database will be connected to each QBO account seperatly. You cannot connect multiple QBO accounts to one FB database. Perhaps class tracking is something to consider?
Hi Lance, do you have a video that shows how to create a sandbox/copy of QBO and connect it to FishBowl?
