Ive been wearing Silhouette frames for years, just bought another pair after my current script changed. Current frames (Silhouette ) are 8 years old and still going strong. Great frames.

I had one side of a hingeless Silhouette frame that failed after about three years. It just fell apart into two pieces - metal fatigue, I guess. I have two others that are about 10 and 12 years old that I've had reglazed a couple of times each which are fine.

Hey i got a question i know that the compression sleeves are 1,4mm ,and i saw that the inside of the sleeves are 0,8mm but is that the actual size of the attachment pins?
Hope you can help me out

Hi. The attachment pins vary in thickness as they go up towards the lug to give grip to the plug. 0.8 will be the smallest part and will go up to 1.1. The compression plug works using pressure to hold the side in place. I hop that helps

What would the person have done wrong if they are not level, not parallel, and one temple slants down as it moves toward the ear part, so my glasses are crooked with one lens higher than another? I have 5521 Titan Next Generation. I paid over $800.00 for the glasses. It makes me ill that someone put them together so poorly. I don't see how I can fix them on my own. I'm not even sure the optical shop can fix them. If you know what is wrong, I'd appreciate the info.

Definatly take them back to where you got them from. If they were supplied to you new in the state you've described then thats definatly an error on the suppliers part, and a training need for the staff. If they are older than thar, Silhouette frames have a guarantee of 3 years so if there is anything broken or damaged it should be replaced at no charge to you.
