@@suprlite So why did you call a digital caliper a vernier caliper? Digital caliper has a glass scale and obviously uses a LCD needing a battery. Vernier caliper has an engraved vernier scale no battery needed, old school. I'm a retired Mechanical Inspector and have used both type of calipers for decades.
