One of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. Props to the old dude who stepped in. He's definitely a vet, and he stood up for them. Regardless of race. I'm retired Air Force and those soldiers behaved exactly as they should have. Exactly as you are taught by the military to handle situations of this type. And that woman should get down on her knees and thank God that none of them deferred from their training.

30 years ago, I served at Ft Belvoir. It hasn't changed like the rest of America. We are good enough to fight and die in the military, but not good enough to eat, or exist in the same places. I applaud the Veteran who stood up for these soldiers. I wish we were all more like him. Some friends and I were jumped because they didn't like us being in "their" bar, but that didn't work out well for them.
My kind of fight and as a veteran I also will always have your back.

I’m an Army veteran. And this really pissed me off. Kudos to those young soldiers who carried themselves that only the best military force in the entire world can display! I’m proud of them!

As a Veteran, I'd like to commend the Soldiers on showing restraint and conducting themselves with dignity.
I cried watching this video. My son, my nephew and his son are active proud members of the U. S. Military. They protect ALL of us, but to know that a fellow American would disrespect and dishonor them because of the color of their skin, makes me sad.
As a White American, I applaud ur conduct as a person and a soldier, and I thank you for your service. To the Karen, if you’d stop running ur racist mouth, you could learn a lot about decency and patriotism from that Black Man U spoke down to. You’ve disgraced yourself and America.

As a young black Army veteran, I know the feeling. I saw this trend within the ranks and in certain parts of the community in 2017 when Trump just got elected.

@@angelam2057 the problem is swallowing all that anger and being required to be “better” doesn’t cause people to see us as good. They still think we are largely violent thugs with a few good apples. That anger and hurt doesn’t dissipate, it spills over as trauma. Sure, this soldier was lucky he hadn’t had to encounter this before. Some of us aren’t so lucky, and we maintain this composure consistently enough to cause PTSD.

"We" don't have to do anything of the sort, as long as we're not breaking the law. But as a veteran, I can tell you they acted exactly like they were supposed to. They must "maintain their military bearing at all times and are subject to what's known as the UCMJ, google it.

Those soldiers handled themselves with absolute dignity. The were patient and polite and as far as I'm concerned they are a credit to their families and their command. That woman should be proud to have such men protecting the country she lives in.

When some women reach a certain age and realize they’re no longer attractive they can’t handle it. It crushes them.They look for reasons to be angry because they’re unhappy so they lash out. Believe it or not most of them grow out of this after a few years but that initial realization that they’re no longer attractive and never will be again takes an enormous toll physiologically. This is what happens when women only get by because of their looks. They don’t get the attention they’re used to and they resent others who get attention. They resent people saying their lives matter because on this inside they feel like theirs no longer does. You have to have more going for you than being pretty because looks fade. It can’t be your entire identity.

There is a rule that we service members are SUPPOSED to FOLLOW and it's DON"T wear your uniform unless it's a service-related function. Not out shopping or out on the town. Why is everyone just conveniently ignoring this? This could be avoided if RULES were followed.
@@kaycard766 when was that rule put into place? how can you limit a service persons daily living because of their uniform when we have to do a lot of things of off the post, base etc? I don't think this rule exist. I wore my uniform to things outside of service related functions and never had any issues. Most times I got a thanks or asked to have my meal paid for. if this rule does exist they need to get rid of it. IT WAS THIS CRAZY KARENS FAULT THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE IN THIS CASE.

In ‘66, a Greek-American, Black-American & myself (Italian-Amer) were returning to Marine Camp Lejeune from a weekend Pass at Myrtle Beach.
We stopped at a SC restaurant, made our order, when the waitress returned, bent to my ear, and whispered, “ The owner wants to know if that man is, “..a Negro?”
Now, “Smitty,” as we knew him, had a slight wave on the very little hair Marines were allowed at that phase in our training.
So, in a normal voice I said, “ Who? Smitty? No, Smitty isn’t a Negro, he’s “EYE-tal-yon!” (Italian).
Waitress smiled, walked back to the bar. A minute later a man yells, “ I Italian my ass! He’s black as the ace of spades!”
We were then told that “Negroes” couldn’t eat there, but we refused to leave.
The equivalent of Barney Fife, showed up to arrest us, but the owner demurred when we explained we’d be back with 50 more Marines the following weekend, and fifty more after that.
Being a kid from the Northeast, I’d never seen racism in such stark terms.

It's so hard for me to believe anyone would act like this. Where I live in Hawaii a local girl would drag that woman out doors and teach her some street justice real quick. I've even seen guys do it on the fact the woman is facing down a guy. They say you want to act like a guy then you can take a beating from a guy. Learn your place fast.
