  • Learn all the vocabulary you need to talk about having a baby and being pregnant. I will teach you medical vocabulary, slang phrases, and important verbs that all have to do with getting and being pregnant. You’ll learn how to talk about different ways people get pregnant, what happens during pregnancy, and on to the time when the baby finally is born. I got an ultrasound and all I saw inside me was Mr. E. Take the quiz to test your understanding: www.engvid.com/learn-english-...

I think two of the most important attributes a teacher needs to have (in addition to the pedagogic skills), are humanitarism and empathy. That may be the reason you're such a good teacher, sir.

This is a nice lesson. Thank you again Sir James. & as for the homework, I will use these terms if my friends or my sister in law is finally having a baby. Kinda scared to look forward to it but atleast now, especially if my friend's a preggo (there you go) I finally have the correct words to say. Depending on the context & the vibe of the room, of course.

yeah. I remember how I tried to understand a sentence containing the words "labour" and "delivery" related to a pregnancy but without the context. that was tough. hope the video will save a couple of beginners souls. thnx

I am watching his entire EngVid playlist and am loving James! However, in my opinion, "knocked up" is never okay to say about someone else's pregnancy. It's rude and crass and a disrespectful way to refer to what is a godly miracle.
