I think you should write about your experience as a child on a reality show. Not something you publish, just something for you. If you do it for yourself you don't have to worry about hurting feelings, you can just purge all of your feelings. Under the circumstances, it had to be something that impacted your life both negative and positive.

yes i constantly write letters and poetry etc of my raw emotions for therapy. it helps a lot to just put it all out there and give it to someone like my therapist who doesnt judge and wants to help. i ❤ therapy everyone should do therapy
@@kayluvsmusic1121 I really want to but I'm flat broke 😩 I wasnt allowed to do therapy as a kid because my parents took it personally and felt they did something wrong, but I'm 18 now trying to get away from all of it, im lost if I'm being honest :/
The people who are calling her perfect aren’t helping her feelings around perfectionism. Nobody is perfect and THAT IS OKAY. She is allowed to not be good at things, make mistakes, etc. that’s human and that’s beautiful

I’m glad you spoke about this.. a lot of ppl like to force the dance mom cast to speak on the show. Some are comfortable but others are of course not. I really appreciate you being vulnerable and open to us.. NEVER feel forced to participate or speak on something that truly makes you uneasy💘

I’m shocked you girls weren’t offered therapy automatically…a lot of shows in the uk give their cast therapy because they understand how difficult it can be mentally…and that’s for adults. Kids need it more!
They were offered therapy but it wasn’t the best therapy

ive heard only horror stories and they aren't HIPAA compliant and were selling patients data... there are def way better legit ones out there thx for pointing it out!!

I relate so much to this. It's interesting how you really do tell yourself that it's fine and a certain traumatic or all-consuming thing in childhood didn't affect you in the few years after it, but I think after a certain point that defense mechanism breaks down and it gets crazy... growing up I guess! Much love

I’ve had things come up recently that I thought I was healed from but haven’t as well. I think it’s the universe telling us it’s time to heal and start a new life chapter. It’s the best feeling when you get to the other side!

Glad you’re figuring stuff out, and I’ve also been dealing with perfectionism for most of my life so what you said made perfect sense. I constantly have to tell myself when I’m trying something new or making art etc…. that it’s ok to make mistakes and that we have to fail before we can get better.

How it instantly brought up tears shows what a trauma it was for you and your response was immediately to tell people that it didn’t affect you is a trauma response. Be gentle with yourself. ❤❤

I am happy you're in a place where you feel ready and better equipped to address and process what happened to you. it's ok that you weren't and I'm glad you had therapists who didn't force you to confront that when you weren't ready. I think it's important to remember that you will probably have to grieve many aspects of the things that you went through and grief is a process of processing that sometimes doesn't end. That doesn't mean you will always be unable to think about it or you will constantly be sad, but rather there will be things that sting to think about and there will be days where you feel more sad about what happened. Don't expect yourself to be completely "healed" or to feel one way or another about your experiences. It's ok to be mad, angry, happy, sad, resentful, or whatever emotions you feel. Wishing you the best of luck in your healing journey!
chloe you are my favorite from dance moms i am on season 7 on the witches cauldron dance episode and im literally watching the group dance rn and you are absolutely incredible i give u so much credit for all those years you delt with abby and u slayed coming back to the girls and winning EVERY SINGLE NUMBER you did with MVP ( or mbp ? im not sure oop) but anyway keep doing what you’re doing you are incredible and such a happy and bright person

The things that neuroscience talks about is getting "addicted" with the process and journey, more than the results. It helped me heal myself in my journey of chronic illness and my childhood. Honestly we all thought it was just a show, but it really wasn't "just a show". So many people had panic attacks on that show and were so insecure. I believe that it was scary. And you girls got body shamed and got called names. I mean, there's more drama off camera than on camera. And just know that there is no perfect. And thats okay. Love you chloe 💙💙

Maybe find a sugar cookie recipe you like; you'll be able to change them up by sprinkling sugar and cinnamon on them, or frost them, or add nuts or shredded coconut sometimes.

If baking is something you like to do, just keep trying! Automatically saying you can’t do something sets the tone for the experience. I’ll tell you something, I’m a mom, I never baked, my husband did. I always told my kids I couldn’t. That their dad had to. One day, my daughter begged me to help her make a cake for her dads bday. I was so mortified. But I did it for her. It wasn’t perfect, BUT, it wasn’t that bad!!! You don’t have to be great at something to enjoy it. ✌🏽😊
