On Tuesday March 30th 2021 Napalm Records premiered a long waited - Paint the Sky With Blood (Official Music video) featuring Alexi Laiho and his latest melodic death metal project - Bodom After Midnight band. The music video premiere took place on Napalm Record’s official RUclips channel and was watched simultaneously by over 2700 people at the same time. In the first hour after release it was watched over 30.000 times.

Paint the Sky With Blood is also the name of the 1st track and the whole EP record put up by BAM already after tragic news about the premature passing of the front man and the co-founder of the band - Alexi Laiho.
Ironically if not for the Pandemic the band would have done what Alexi loved the most - touring and playing live shows. Paint the Sky with Blood EP is going to see the daylight due to the tragic coincidence.
Paint the Sky with Blood EP is available for pre-order and will come out on April 23rd 2021, via Napalm Records.
The music video by Ykä Jarvinen is outstanding and will go down the history of heavy metal for its unprecedented value as it became the last depiction of Alexi Laiho in full glory, doing what he loved the most - playing music.
His legacy will stay alive and carry on as long as his songs are listened to and solos are played. Rest in Power Alexi Wildchild Laiho - you will be remembered!

@Bart Lee I had an honour to follow and document one of the last COB shows back in December 2019. Took some gig photos and also made an interview with Henkka Seppälä (it is up on my channel). It was on 15.12.19 the highlight of the night was me being on the back stage waiting to take a band picture of COB. It went like this: 10 minutes before the show Alexi just entered the venue. I am there on the back stage waiting for COB to come together. I am a bit nervous standing next to Alexi checking my battery level to make sure I don't mess it up, he looks a bit nervous too. 5 minutes before the show, time is running I need to get going and I am like: "Alright, gentlemen, please come a bit closer to each other... 3,2,1📸(snap)", - I took my the most memorable shot of 2019 (it is up on my IG). Couldn't have guessed this would be the last backstage band photo of COB featuring Alexi, Jaska, Daniel, Janne, Henkka together. Next day they played "Chapter Called Children of Bodom " final COB show after 20+ years of their professional career at at Ice Hall in Helsinki. Few days later Alexi (or his management) posted this I made of the band on his Instagram (it came full circle). It was just straight up surreal experience. That day will stay in my memory.🔥
@Bart Lee That's right, the health was already undermined at that time and of course, the lockdown and not being able to play live, no festivals might have had additional negative effect through stress. Where did you see them last year? Which country?

24.10.2020 Tavastia Club, Helsinki. I was at Tavastia to witness.
You are right, my friend - there were only a couple of shows all together. How was your experience like in Tavastia? How was the mood and the band?

They were very much alive and it was like a fresh start. Laiho looked good on stage. The other members were well involved and could have been louder in the audience, if there were no COV-19 restrictions. To my luck there are photos I took of the gig. Good gig, great memory.
