Yeah, I am just doing it now for the first time, at the cotton full program, which is 1 hour and 50 minutes for my machine. Hope it will turn fine, because I love my indigo jeans.
I'm looking to dye a pair of chinos black, I wondered how the Dylon all-in-one intense black dye worked and if it got the garment black, not dark gray, because it's for work. Although I think your video is excellent, very clear & easy and very well demonstrated, I must say I'm not impressed with the actual dye: it could be the lighting or camera, but your jeans look the same colour as before you dyed them. It says 'intense black' on the pod, but it doesn't look like it to me.
He did a quick wash which is probably fine for what he wanted, a more washed out look. It's a much shorter wash so the Dye has less time to be absorbed into the fabric. If you did it as recommended and ran the full Cotton 40 wash then a much darker colour would be achieved...
I thought that myself, the final result didn't look too clever if I'm honest..... alas they are only to be used for work so it's not a tragedy. Still, it didn't finish the way I envisioned
