I was able to book a suite at Alila Ventana Big Sur a month prior to going, I got lucky. I stayed during Labor Day weekend just last month. It was 61,000-66,000 pts per night though. I did get upgraded to a villa which was beautiful. The best resort I've been to so far. I plan to go back every year if I can get a basic room for 35k-45k a night.

That is awesome! I'm glad you were able to find availability and it was the best resort you've been to🏆. I'm going to have to try it at some point, but finding 40k availability isn't easy.

Just stayed at the Park Hyatt NY last week. It was an incredible experience which I highly recommend. I was upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor without even having Hyatt Status

Yes!!! Park Hyatt Tokyo looks incredible! I'm a fan of the film "Lost In Translation", and ever since seeing that movie I thought it would be cool to stay there. Hoping to stay there on my birthday next year 😁

Also 45k was the floor I could find for any time of year for Alila ventana . Guess it’s on perma-peak time lol

I’ve maxed out my SUBs and will have to use half my points for just 2 nights at any of these places but guess that’s how it goes for aspirational. The value seeker in me just died a little 😅

The Hyatt credit card is a junk card. Better to use a Chase card and transfer to Hyatt

It isn't great for everyday spending. I use it for the elite nights and free night certificate. Works well in my wallet. But most of my hyatt points come from me transferring from Chase.

@@jpknowledge8852 Awesome, its a lovely city, very much a city but as someone with French family who are in the South of France i always enjoyed Paris. If you got the time and can swing it with points and all, you should take the train south to Monaco/Nice area its honestly well worth it.
