Did you know... while many consumers are spending money left and right over the holiday season, fraudsters are raking it in, hand over fist?
As with everything that deals with fraud, if it seems too good to be true, steer clear!
Scammers are targeting thrifty shoppers hoping to save money by using bonus coupon codes. Sometimes the codes require you to enter your contact information or pay an access or subscription fee. Always verify coupons with the retailer first. More often than not, it’s phony.
