@Rajashekhar sir commendable job ,you told your past harassment story in most funniest way in public which no one of us neither want to tell to our parents or not even want to remember. Salute 🫡
I have experienced something similar not only by men but also from women (my mother's best friend). the only different thing is his aunty reacted and made a decision to protect but my mom got to know it and defended her friend.could be because that she wanted to protect my innocence but i would have preferred the way Rajsekhar' s aunty reacted. Thank you sir @RajsekharMamidana for being a kind and thoughtful person. Your stand up has eased painful times for me. 🙏
Your mother may have had some solid reason for not responding in the right manner. Maybe she depended on this lady in some ways which you as a child didn't know of or maybe your mom didn't know only how to react to such an unexpected situation. Maybe she still feels guilty for not responding in a correct manner. Or sometimes children are extra dramatic/ mischievous /story spinners. In such cases, the adults ignore the child's narrative thinking it's one of the so many stories that the child spins because the culprit pervert has such a good image amongst the adults, the child seems to be wrong. For your own healing, ponder over the above and see if it explains your mothers lack of right response. And thereafter you can speak/ discuss with your mom about it. It will help the both of you 🙏 God bless you. I wish for you to be content 🙏
@@radhikapillai829 Im grateful for your kindness. I spoke to her about this when i was 26 and at that point of time that aunty was not her friend anymore. i know my mom means no harm by how she responded and the only thing she could say in her understanding to ease my mind she tried, I don't blame her. I put this out here to say not only men but women too could behave so. Even though that aunty was a mother of two she did what she did. what helped me heal was my friend's words -you must help your old( younger hurt self) heal and grow by considering it like a small child and be compassionate, kind and loving towards it through the new understanding that your present self( adult or older and wise). it took time and yes i feel a lot better than i used to like as if it was a small would that has healed leaving a scar which is visible but nor painful.
Sometimes general social beliefs play a role subconsciously. In our society for many people, accepting a boy or man displaying bad sexual behaviour is pretty easy. It is quite different when it comes to girls or women. That subconscious mindset might have prevented your mother from taking it seriously.
