Located just north of the Georgia line, Chattanooga has undergone an incredible transformation over the past 40 years.

🤠 Thanks For Watching!
We are Tom and Stacie Langland, known for 10 years as RV Texas Y'all.
We are Native Texans and Full-Time RVers who are all about exploring the Great State of Texas and America one campground at a time. We're on a mission to experience life, not just live it and we're bringing you along for the fun.
In 2018, we sold our house, our business and gave away just about everything we own to hit the road and see America. Our home is a 33' motorhome named Freedom. We installed an extreme solar and lithium battery setup so now we can camp just about anywhere with our dog (Star) and our cat (Astro).
Every day is a new adventure, so join us as we RV America Y'all.
Safe Travels and Happy Camping!

That’s a nice one. Checkout the battlefields.
The aquarium is excellent.
We visited there in February 2020
The video might surprise you! 😊 We will get to the battlefields next time!
We went to Chattanooga September 2023 to checkout the Overland Adventure Show. Your list is everything we want to do when we go back. During our long weekend, we hit the zoo, spent a day at Cloudland Canyon State Park and a day touring the Chickamauga Battlefield. Y'all have me wanting to go back as soon as possible.
That’s cool, thanks Gary!
22:25 stopped at Massey’s yesterday. We agree with the comment that it’s worth the drive from anywhere in the area. The pizza was the definition of the perfect pizza and our sandwiches were perfect. The service was attentive but not intrusive
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌🏻
Loved the video. My husband is from the Chattanooga area and we love it there. Best Restaurant is The Boat House on the Tennessee river.
Thanks for the recommendation, we will have to eat there next time! 😊
Loved the video, my family is originally from Chattanooga. My grandfather had one of the first 4 Coca Cola routes and delivered by wagon. I have a picture of him driving the first Coca Cola truck. He worked for Chattanooga Coca Cola for 43 years starting when he was 12 years old. Looks like the original leather worker still up there makes awesome wallets, belts etc. It's been great seeing Rock City grow over the years. Jack Daniels Distillery is not too far and is a great place to take a tour if you get a chance.
Wow, love the story about your grandfather! Coca Cola has been my (Tom) favorite drink since I was a kid, and that’s been a long time. Yes, Stacie loved her quality belt & buckle & they were priced very affordable. Thanks again for watching & sharing your story!
Thanks for covering our area. We live just outside the battlefield, near the Wilder tower. There’s a ton to do in the area. Great place to raise a family as well.
Thanks 😊 we really enjoyed the Area and look forward to getting back!
I’m so glad you were able to patronize the leather shop I would support them also
Absolutely, small business and very reasonable prices with high quality! 🙌🏻
I have been there twice and didn’t see allot of what you did. Great video. We were at Rock City at Christmas time and very cool.
Thanks Kathy, we loved the Area! 🙌🏻
We went on that train ride years ago. Loved it
😎
The Chattanooga , Bakery was in the same building that Dixie Portland Flour Mills was in, Now ADM .just behind the Chattanooga Choo-choo .Don’t forget the Krystal Hamburger started here.
Love the story about the Moon Pie! 😊
I worked at Dixie Portland as a truck driver. Before they moved when they need flour the just filled their silos.
Thank you very much for the great video. Chattanooga is on our bucket list. We appreciate all your suggestions!
Tons of fun! 🤩
For those that are curious Rock City is also Dog Friendly. You can find information on Bring Fido. We were only in the area for a day and parked our RV in the parking lot and Lucky came with us. I will say he didn't care for the suspension bridge. 🐕🦺😬
Thanks for the tip! 😊
Hope you Dave and Lucky are doing great! Hopefully our paths will cross soon!
We love Chattanooga!
😊
Oh my God! What an excellent review. We are leaving for Chattanooga tomorrow. We plan to literally do every single thing you guys did. You made our touring plan so easy! This INCLUDES "Mellow Mushroom". Where do we send our concierge tip?
🤣 have a blast, see you in Nashville! 😃
As usual my bucket list just got longer because of your great video! Thanks for such great info!❤️
That’s awesome, thanks 😊
Headed there first of March. We're doing the railway Ruby falls and rock city. We might through that pedestrian bridge in the mix. So perfect the timing here for this video. Thank you for sharing
That bridge is in Rock City so you will see it! 😊
Oops, sorry, the pedestrian bridge is in downtown! 🙌🏻
Loved your video! Very informative.
Thanks 😊
Enjoyed this video. It was all new to us until we saw Ruby Falls. We have been there. That was many years ago. Thanks.
Thanks Norman!
Both of you look like you've lost weight...whatcha been doing?
You guys are in your glory in Chatanooga! But I say that in every video!
You both just get better and better! Happy trails!
Thanks for those kind words Cynthia, I think this was one of the best ones we have done! Love loved it here!!! ❤️
Next trip, stop by Coker Tire. They manufacture tires for antique cars and have quite a museum of cars. All are drivable.
Sounds like a great stop, thanks!
Great Video. Makes me want to go back there to do a more thorough tour. Love the belt :)
Thanks Betty! Stacie loves the belt! 😊
WOW Lots to see. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome ☺️
Now I want to go back. I bet you have seen enough things you didn't know about to make you want to go back again.
That’s for sure 👍🏻
What a great video. Thanks guys
Thanks! 😊
great pics on our list
Thanks 😊
Didn't know Tom was into printing. I made printing a career for 35 years. Was on the finishing end, book binding/ mailing.
That’s cool, I owned a digital print company in the 90’s and early 2000’s called ImagePro in Houston. We were one of the first shops in America to own the QMDI Digital Printing Press from Heidelberg. Those were crazy days!
Moonpies & Dr.Pepper !! ❤❤❤
