Alpha got a leap update in CN version, leap is a feature where u can add additional movesets/enhanced moveset to characters. That's all it's leaped Alpha and global didn't got that buff yet for her
1:10 ehhhh i don´t know when they made the visusal update and i love the 90% of it but i think i prefer the previous ult where the screen is about to break, because it looks like alpha is so OP that she can shatter space itself. I think the changed it to give the player the capacity to actually see something while the ult is bieng used, so is objectively better now for the gameplay improvement, but subjectively i prefer the epicness of the previous one.

Main Crimson Abyss and Weave, apparently there are moves that I didn't even know could be done with Crimson Abyss, I don't know if this is specifically in the PC version or something, but Alpha for me will always be the character with best gameplay of the game (personal opinion, I can't say everyone will agree with me)

I'm a day one player who abandoned being F2P in Fake Ascension. Lemme tell you, although there is a certain Meta, unlike the other games similar to PGR, in here all the characters are still completely viable. Even if some are batter, none are underpowered. Besides Changyu, for some reason...
In term of power, newer units always more powerful even they're from different class for each element team like Vera powercreep Bianca and Luna powercreep Watanabe But you're welcome to use those characters which still able to finish a challenge Old units also being reworked and buffed from time to time which is good to build more characters that not go to waste for babel tower

I love the way you parry the incoming attack, using different styles from basic attack and orbs.. resulting in some different fresh epic parry in each parry freeze or slow screen time.. and it s funny that you cast aside the evasion button far in the left.. lol is that just your preference or no need evasion when you can make it cool with parry system? 😂

this alpha got powercreep by the new bianca alter and she is physical not lightning... crimson weave is meta lightning dps in cn rn... btw alpha's build can be 4pcs patton or 4pcs Frederick with 2pcs drwin... patton for constant dmg while Frederick have more dmg but there's a burst window so it cant be little bit difficult to maintain her dmg...

Kuro Games, the devs of this game, regularly update old characters' kits (but you need to farm some currency for it). Alpha received an update this CN patch. First off, she got a new bar shown in the lower center of the UI. Whenever she use a triple orb, she gains one charge. This charge can be consumed to use her new move (she hops back while sending a serpentine slash forward along the ground). She also got a way to rearrange her orbs now, which solves the problem she used to have because she needs very specific orb combinations for best damage. Lastly, she got a new finisher that allows her to end her sword wave mode faster, its quite a strong move and sometimes ending sword wave mode is a good idea if you dont have enough orbs anyway.
In the past, her kit was pretty roughly designed. Looks nice, but gameplay wise, there are more characters who's kit melds better together than hers. Now with the buff, Alpha gameplay is a lot smoother👌
Other gacha games will make older units completely unplayable. Playing a game like Honkai means you learn and invest in a charecter only to drop them after you really start liking playing them well. Like any gacha, PGR has powercreep, but what Kuro excels at is making sure every unit can still play the game with sufficient player skill, the only thing you can't do is get the highest WZ scores.
No hate on blanc or bury the light, but using alpha along with bury the light is kinda overused and some people are getting tired of it. I mean, almost all pgr battle ost's are banger too, right ? My favorite is HIkari anyway
