Bassline is back in 2017 and bigger than ever. EZ was more garage than bassline, although he did play a lot of it round the time it was picking up. Bassboy still makes tunes as does Burgaboy
Ajay Wale should just try get yourself to the bassfest's most djs in bassline all play there it's the second one this year on the 30th what I'm going too
Do you know how many times a year I come back to watch this documentary? Omg. I’m glad I got to experience the bassline era from the beginning and the scene was one of a kind 🔥 so many memoriessss
I'm so happy and proud that this was my life, my upbringing! I'm 29 now and I'm still a bassline raver! And being born and bred smack in the middle of Leeds and Bradford, near Dewsbury, working in Sheff, still being here today, it's easy to get my bassline rave fix! From 14 years old in the clubs to now! Bassfest regular, bassline original, bassline for life!
I was in the niche in the mid 90 I'm 39 now and still love baseline takes me back to the the original niche nightclub being there all night and getting home at 8 in the morning bangin tunes and having an awesome time
It still is in aheff club called tank but obviously bassline isn't the same no more cus they've changed sound of it an it's shite I still blast the oldskool can't stand new skool
Only old enough to have experienced tank but used to hear about niche as a kid, not knowing the bassline genre back then just loved the tunes, grew up to be an absolute tank and bassline addict and thank the lord for Jamie duggan
I remember having heartbroken on my Walkman phone age 13 waaaaaay before it came in the charts so when it finally blew I was confused. I'm so gassed I found bassline music I always loved it but ppl In London my age wasn't on my level. I'm glad I finally got to Basline festival in Manchester in about 2014, the only time I been to a dance with pure bassline music I was gassed. I swear that music let everybody channel there ADHD lol
Caught the back end of the bassline wave What a few years it was. Ts7 turned the scene on its head along with others but ts7 raise your glasses was fucking insane 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Interesting video . A bit of garage / uk bassline music history i never knew . Had alot of tunes in among my garage and jungle but didnt know where bassline really came from . Nice one
4x4 bassline ruined niche nightclub. Was a regular at Casaloco, Boilerhouse and Niche from 1999 till they all got shut down. Lucky to have been involved in the original clubs. Always messy nights. Miss those clubs. We will never ever get another club that could ever be like the clubs above.
a basslinje from Oslo, Norway. I have somthing going on, one day people have 2 understand that Uk Garage, 2step, bassline. Has been the nr.1 iconaclast 4 a Style in Music and life that is including it all, a mashup of good people, loyality to their genre, and danceball ☺ see you. Get in love and feel the bassline flow
Hey man, I write for 3000 and lived in Berlin for a bit - I was really surprised to find a thriving 2-step/UKG scene over there pushed by a few guys, including a promotion called 'Operate'. I've sort of made it my mission to document UK underground music wherever I've been in the world, and was wondering if you could give me a few words from a Norwegian's perspective?
