Do you think a Tamil Guy or Women can even contest for a Ward Councillor in Telugu State? Looks like Tamils are much more generous & decent than what you think!. And one more thing before you talk about learning mother tongue in other states you should learn/read the history of what & why Indian Government declared Linguistic state policy. Tamil was the first to be classified as a classical language of India and is one of the scheduled languages of India along with other 22 languages.
Tamil is older than Sanskrit and there is record of 'Tamil Sangam' dating back 4,500 years. In February 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Tamil, as a language, was older than Sanskrit.
Tamil was not exposed to Sanskrit until the 5th century BCE. The south was populated by Dravidian speakers even before the entry of Aryans into India, implying that the Dravidian languages existed long before Sanskrit.
The first text known in the Tamil language is Tolkappiyam’. It dates back from the 1st to 4th century CE, and writes about grammar and poetics - which were epic or religious.
In fact, Tamil literature is the oldest in India, as it was documented for over 2000 years. For example, the Sangam Literature was dated from 300 BC to AD 300.
Sources write that some inscriptions on stone were even dated to the far 3rd century BC, although they were influenced by the 5th century BCE Sanskrit grammars.
With the oldest version of Tamil dating from 450 BCE to 700 CE, until the 16th century Modern Tamil, the shape of the letters and the alterations in the alphabet led to diglossia.
Now lets come to Sanskrit. Sanskrit is used in mostly oral religious contexts. Its ‘purity’ is doubtful and typically translated, in fear of losing accuracy and authenticity.
Tamil is one of the widespread languages in the world. It is official language in Tamil Nadu, Srilanka and Singapore. You find Tamil-speaking populations in Myanmar, Bahamas, Seychelles, Guadeloupe, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Mauritius, South Africa, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Burma, Vietnam, Pakistan, Réunion, Guyana, Fiji, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, France, Canada, USA, UAE, UK, South Africa, Australia, the rest of the EU countries and the list goes on. There are around 11 crores (110 million) of Tamils around the globe. Come on…let’s be honest. Proud to be a Tamilian 💪.

just type the below and see in youtube.
"Surprise ! Narendra Modi on Tamil | Oldest Language| Older than Sanskrit"
Northern part of india might have been misguided by propaganda stories on language.
tell me, why pm modi uses verses from Thirukkural here and there?
Moreover, After mixing of sanskrit, prakritic, paali with Tamil, new new languages might have been developed by people for convenient . That's all.
see, chennai tamil seems to be different than coimbatore tamil. apply this formula for different states in 1000 year back.

Tamil Vowels and Consonants are called as Soul and Body. The grammar is based on how a Soul and Body involve in creating sound. For example a soul cannot directly contact another Soul, it has to contact through Body only. Similarly Body cannot create sound by its own. Body is just a medium/material. The Tamil vowels are common for any language in the world. Example B,C,D,G,P,T,V has E sound in it and F,H,J,K,L,M,N,S,X,Z has A sound in it and Q has U sound in it and Y has I sound in it. W - double U (UU) it has U sound. R has “ah” sound but this is not in english as a separate vowel. In fact “ah” is the base for all proper sounds created from mouth. Do not consider shh, iff sound which, these are not in Tamil. You can create lot more sounds like these from your mouth, but those cannot be taken as proper sounds since you cannot have a proper consonent(body) position. Yes, Consonants are just positions of the mouth/tongue/lips. If you tell “ah” continuously meanwhile close your mouth and open you will get “Amma”. If you tell “ah” continuously and stop while you close your mouth and start again while you open you will get “Appa”. “iP” and “iM” are same positions only difference is “iM” is nasal. Similarly Vallinam and Mellinam in Tamil follows.
The Tamil grammar/language is based on how Soul and Body interacts. Tamil: Uyir ezhuthukkal (soul letters) are natural sounds that Humans make. Examples...
ஆ Ah - when one gets pain
ஈ Ee - when one laughs
ஊ Uu - when one drops unexpectedly (whoops)
ஏ Hey - In anger or when one alerts (Hey! watch out)
ஐ ii - when one exclaims
ஓ Oo - when one understands (Oh oh! now I understand)
ஒள Ouu - when one fears of sudden pain (Ouch!)
These expressions are common to any Human irrespective of language or region. Because these are natural sounds from inside us out of natural expressions. That is why these sounds are called as Uyir (soul) in Tamil.

Its astonishing ...its like a cloud cover lift off your mind. I understand why people believe in hinduism santana dharma ..all kinda crap.
If you take all hindu nonsense , what remain is tamil culture.
India was never a hindu country. Hinduism was only created in 150AD to defeat buddism. Dont tell that to north indians , they go crazy.
Only reason india need hinduism revolution is to defeat islam , so i wont expose hinduism that much.
All i want to say is this.
We human live in lies and die in reality.
If you peel away lies one by one , you will see the truth but you will not like it. Not because of truth but we are accustomed to lies.
This is realm of lies where even truth has to pose as a lie to be palatable to human brain.

Hey, I'll have to correct a point in the video. I am a software developer, I have dabbled in Machine Learning and NLP (Natural Language Processing, a field of CS which deals with studying how to make a computer understand, reason about textual data and also to generate textual data)
I did a bit of research into the Rick Briggs + Sanskrit for programming claim. While he did propose Sanskrit for rule based NLP, this was waaay back in the 1980s. And his reasoning was that Sanskrit had a very strict grammatic structure which helps a lot in generating succinct well defined rules. The landscape of NLP has changed significantly ever since, in fact the now extremely popular ChatGpt is infinitely more complex than a simple rule engine, thus any advantage a language with strict grammar rules offers doesn't really make a difference.
Most importantly, the video mentions that Sanskrit can be used for programming because it can express things in a shorter sentence. That does not offer any advantage, that's a myth / misconception. And it was not Rick Berg's proposal either.
I liked a couple of your other videos. I believe you are drawing attention to very important issues in a sensible manner! That said, it is disheartening to see such factual errors in your content. Please engage a stricter fact checking mechanism if possible.
Wishing you the best for your future vids and content

tamil is not at all extraordinary as compared to other languages of the world. other languages like greek sanskrit and latin are spoken and read today as 3000 yrs ago. tamil did not even have its own script before the 7-8th century. tamil along with sanskrit and prakrit were all written in brahmi script which was perfected and popularised by emperor ashoka. heck enev the tamil grammar text tolakappiyam is mostly copy pasted from panini's grammatical works. you also cannot name any great inventors in tamil. on the other hand, sushruta the father of surgery and charwaka the father of medicine both spoke and wrote sanskrit. great mathematicians aryabhatta and bramhagupta both wrote in sanskrit. buddhist missionaries spread sanskrit to china, japan and korea and the tibetian alphabet is derived from the script used by the gupta empire who patronised sanskrit. sanksrit has far greater global influence than any other indian language

Sanskrit means refined speech while Prakrit means original, natural, ordinary. It means sanskrit refined itself from prakrit. In short, Prakrit is older than Sanskrit. Sanskrit is a dialect and does not have its own written form. Sanskrit, which had been using the scripts of other languages(Tamil, Sharada, Siddham, Nagari, etc.) for hundreds of years, began to fully use the Devanagari script in the 18th century. If Sanskrit was a historical language then Emperor Ashoka would have used Sanskrit in his inscription but instead he used Prakrit, Greek and Aramaic. There is no archaeological evidence that suggests Sanskrit Vedas are ancient, it is a false propaganda of Sanskrit scholars and supporters.

If you take all hindu nonsense , what remain is tamil culture.
India was never a hindu country. Hinduism was only created in 150AD to defeat buddism. Dont tell that to north indians , they go crazy.

We human live in lies and die in reality.
If you peel away lies one by one , you will see the truth but you will not like it. Not because of truth but we are accustomed to lies.

In my own opinion Tamil could be older. Sanskrit was created by our Rishis ( Philosphers and Scientists ) by absorbing the existing languages. This could mean All languages North or South. So to say that their are 30% Sanskrit words in Tamil could be that Sanskrit absorbed these 30% of these words and roots from Tamil and other languages.
Most of our Old books are written in Sanskrit. In fact the Rishis were so good that they developed this language and made it into the communicating language . If a King passed an order in Kashmir it could be understood by a person in Kerela . This is the beauty if this language. North Indians are first taught the grammar of this language and then words. In fact they should be taught the words first. I am a North Indian and studied in an English medium school. This language was taught like that. If everyone teaches the words first , just like in Hidi or English, people would learn this language much, much sooner.

Tamil is older than Sanskrit and there is record of 'Tamil Sangam' dating back 4,500 years. "The fact that Sanskrit words form 40% of Tamil vocabulary even today", hence Sanskrit is older.Sanskrit - 1500 BC (circa. 3500 years old) With its oldest texts dating back to around 1500 BCE, Sanskrit is probably the "second oldest language in the world" still being used today. The oldest living language, still in use to date, might be Tamil. This fact is widely debated across linguistic communities. Tamil is proposed to be first attested somewhere between 5320 BC and 8th century CE. The Dravidian language has speakers in Southern India and Sri Lanka.

    In my humble opinion 😉
Both Tamil and Sanskrit would have evolved simultaneously in different regions of Bharatvarsh at the same time like many babies are born on the same day
It doesn't mean one is older and one os younger
    Dear Tamils,
Please don't use this debate as an opportunity to separate ourselves from Bharatvarsh
Instead open Tamil institutions on the foreign countries and make them fall in love with our language.
Those who want will come and learn like we have language institutes in our country for learning German, Chinese, French etc.
These who are willing will learn
Before the arrival of the colonial we were united although we had separate Kingdoms
despite having cultural differences among us.
The issue for which we are fighting were started by the British to break our unity
    Otherwise in the whole Bharatvarsh,
We had certain things in common like,
    * Gurukul System
    * Sanatan Dharma
    * Spirituality
    * considering Cow 🐄🐮 as our Mother rather than just a animal
    * The concept of liberation
    ..........

Tamil literature is so vast. Spiritual, Social, Arts, historical, medicinal you name it, It is already there! Tamil literature has been continously nourished for the past 3000 years.
While Sanskrit being called Deva bhasha mostly for its use in religious activities, Tamil has always been called as SEMOZHI, meaning cultured, refined or the language that has great beauty!

Tamil was the first to be classified as a classical language of India and is one of the scheduled languages of India along with other 22 languages. Also Tamil is declared as one of the 6 classical languages by UNESCO. Tamil should have been the National language of India. Because, it is the oldest in India before Sanskrit.

What about Sanskrit? It left a very huge influence from Sindh to Vietnam and from Kashmir to Sri Lanka. The Sanskrit we know is classical Sanskrit and it is always a written language only. It remained as language of education for Indians and then for Hindu studies (still is to a large extent) until Britishers arrived. Sangam era texts says that Sanskrit hymns were changed all over Tamilakam.
So trying to sideline Sanskrit or deny its history in Tamilakam is not possible.
