Mike: "Ohhh I'm Adam Thielen, I'm too old to catch a ball👴🏼" Thielen: Catches 100 balls against all odds Mike: "Ohhh I was old enough to remember when I caught 100 balls last year" Thank you to the Ballers for motivating Thielen to late career greatness 🤣
After 2 years of watching and winning some leagues. I have now bought the UDK Draft kit+ to take things to the next level! Thank you for all that you do.
Vaguely remember a show from months ago where someone called him Tyjae Sharp instead of Spears and neither of the other two corrected it. No respect. lol
Made the exact trade last year in a 5 player keeper swapped AJ brown for JT. Had JJetas, Garret Wilson, and jsn so had all my wr spots full now have Bijan and JT
Chicago resident and Bears fan here. Mike is absolutely spot on with Trey Mcbride. Had him last year and he was one of the most fun players to watch on the football field. He earned Kylers trust and that was obvious from the tape. He’s the real deal…big year coming 39:49
Nico Collins feels like the guy we say, "yeah, he's the 1 in that offense - sorta, kinda, maybe, I guess, yeah okay sure . . ." - that doesn't give me confidence in him lol. I think they're all gonna mitigate each other's output. they'll all be above-average with a different one popping each week - good luck guessing which one
Some of the rankings do seem crazy. Zay Flowers is a WR 1 #2 target, yet he’s ranked right around Brian Thomas Jr who is a rookie and the 3rd target on the team behind Engram, Kirk and possibly even Etienne. Also last year they kept hyping Hollywood Brown solely because he was a Cardinal
Mike when asked a pertinent question: "It's possible he's a bust, but also range of outcomes, vacated targets, and who they took in the draft...". (and other Googleable, common sense things) Mike when asked about a backup TE: "You mean the "Lawn Mower"?... guy just chews up grass *laughs like it was organic...plays drop*...and if he doesn't work out, he was just a 12th round pick. But if he hits..." *says "buy the UDK folks!"*
Kirk Cousin v Caleb Williams the smart money is on Cousins (his pick'em lines are an extra 400 passing yards and 5 passing TD)s, if I had to put 1 of them on my fantasy team in non-SF easy Williams and just deal with streaming if need be. AJB v Taylor I don't understand how this is remotely a question in full PPR. AJB is rated higher in redraft this year and WRs have a longer shelf life in dynasty.
I think the footballers are being seduced by the coach talk and talent of Gibbs but are failing to recognize how much the coaching staff LOVES David Montgomery. I’m not drafting Montgomery, but I don’t think Gibbs even sniffs the top 5 this year. He will finish higher than Montgomery in half and full PPR leagues, but I think Montgomery will have another 1100-1200 total yards and double-digit touchdowns and his ADP is FAR behind Gibbs, so if you’re going zero RB or hero RB then Monty isn’t a bad pick in the middle rounds. Gibbs is clearly the more electric player, but his style is also more prone to injury. I won’t probably have either on my teams because I tend to forgo RBs early. It’s always worked out well for me.
Baker Mayfield was the first or second QB off the board in the second round his second year in my fantasy draft. I guess that's what happens when you live in Northeast Ohio.
Rice shouldn’t matter for Hollywood tbh. Rashee while relevant last season wasn’t a huge separator, like sure he was successful but once a better receiver who is getting open gets there and especially one with less baggage Rice falls into strictly weekly flex play territory. Especially becomes evident once you realize the defense he had success against last year.
Im in a dictatorship league where they refuse to change the waiver rules. Theres no priority queue, no faab, or anything. Its a 3am open on Tuesday free for all and i absolutely hate it
@@sethford7642 It's great because I work in the mornings so I either lose sleep and pray my button press is quicker than others/ the app doesn't freeze because it's refreshing or have a full night rest and miss out on top waiver adds
I appreciate analysts trying to find more and more predictable metrics that lead to fantasy success, but use all these metrics as a guide, and go with the gut sometimes, or get weird with a few picks. I think that the data we have for the state of the game as it is today, is just too sparce. My reasoning: There are only so many, say, 5'11 WRs who weigh between 185-195, scored above xyz numbers at the combine, get drafted in round 1, now have a QB with x years experience in the NFL, had a level of college production over xyz receptions/yards/TDS, win x% of routes, etc. etc. Also, good luck quantifying each player's projected ability to learn a new system and adapt to a new team and league. Even if you had a sample of 25 of those specific player situations, those are not enough data points to to be reliable in any sort of analysis.
Joe Burrow has missed more games due to injury than Lamar Jackson, despite joining the league 2 years later. Lamar Jackson is known for being injury prone and Joe Burrow isn't. Make it make sense.
Does Andy have some sort of animosity towards Mike that I don’t know about lol? The episodes without Jay kinda were awkward and now this thing with McBride today
Muhsin Muhammad had like 17 receiving TD's one year. My fantasy team was so bad that year. I was playing somebody who 4got to set their lineups. Only 2 ppl he had playing was Muhammad & the kicker. Muhammad had 3 TD's and beat my team by himself 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
LAST CHANCE! Get the lowest price on the 2024 UDK before June 1st at UltimateDraftKit.com
Old Man Thielen being one of 3 receivers to get 100 receptions from rookie QBs over 13 years is a CRAZY stat
Mike: "Ohhh I'm Adam Thielen, I'm too old to catch a ball👴🏼"
Thielen: Catches 100 balls against all odds
Mike: "Ohhh I was old enough to remember when I caught 100 balls last year"

The Adam Thielen bit is SO funny. I laugh every time.
The disrespect from Mike not remembering Muhsin Muhammad...
PANTHERS & BEARS LEGEND
Bears still suck

New one already heck ya....now new dynasty podcast 👀
Even with the overall number one pick QBs, you are looking at WR31 numbers last year, so you are supporting a WR3.

Why does Andy say "acrossed" whenever he says across? @5:17
I don't know why Mike was so opposed to bringing up Tom Jones, it's not unusual.
BA DUM TSSS
Would you have drafted Michael Gallup or Robert woods if he had Mahomes? 46:06

82 for 1000 and 11 and 4. Got it
I agree w Mike how the cardinals will work! That’s why marv my turn pick!
Anyone else find it funny the titans drafted both tajae sharpe and tajae spears? Hopefully Spears isn't as dull.
Herberts rookie season was only 15 games as well 😜
I said Nate Washington and I pooped myself when he said the name
Y'all acting like you aren't going live before the TDK is released. 😉
Y is McBride TE #1? simple. From the time Ertz got hurt, McBride was the TE 1 in fantasy. Easy.
Banana ramma has new meaning after seeing “THE” vid 😂

Time to leave that league
Muhsin Muhammad’s son is a receiver at Texas A&M
But just last year when Hollywood was a cardinal you told us to take him over DJ Moore

Agreed. The new rules haven't established a base line to accurately predict future numbers.
Next year should be a lot clearer.
