👍 Great review. Looks like a pretty solid package in stock form. With some oil shocks, a brushless conversion and a large capacity 2s battery I think this could be in a league of its own.
Cheers mate, yep I plan to upgrade this truck soon with a few simple mods, should be a pretty quick and decent basher on a budget 👍🍻
Nice Review. Would be fun to upgrade it to go faster. Just want to let other people know that we have a HS group on FB. Would be nice to get some owners of this larger version into the group. Just search HS RC or Ho Speed 1/18 RC. Thanks
Cheers Mark, upgrades are definitely on the cards with this one to make it a lot faster and more fun for bashing! Thanks for watching mate 👍
Good review, that truck would last about 2 minutes bashing, hell just racing it wouldn't last me, I hit too much, lol
Cheers for watching brother 👍
Good look at this one Dave. Being 2wd it sure held its own with everything you put it through.
Yeah its pretty decent, better than I expected .. It made its way through the terrain pretty well considering its only rear wheel drive. Good base for some mods I reckon. Cheers for watching bro👍🍻
I have this car too, but my chassis is broken, in the book you see sale parts, but you cant buy them anywhere?
maybe check aliexpress
I’d love to see a brushless conversion with a 3650 motor I think it can compete with the big names in terms of final speed.
In plan to go brushless on this truck soon, thanks for watching
nice vehicle mate!
looks very similar to the traxxas rustler!
great driving my brother!
Yeah it sure does look a bit like a rustler hey, cheers for watching Mike👍🍻
I think the best thing about this truck is its looks. Funny that they try to pass this off as 1/8th scale when the model numbers start with 10.
Hey Roger, i may convert this to brushless later to see how it goes with some spare electronics I have laying around, will burn up those rear tyres pretty good I reckon lol 😂👍 cheers for watching mate🍻
@@PERTHWESTOZRC That'd be interesting. I hope those plastic gears hold up.
Could you put a brushless system in it? And maybe a full size 2s/3s? Cool vid btw
I plan to convert to brushless soon, thanks for watching Alex 👍
Nice man, not to bad for Rwd👍
Be interesting to see it set up on brushless😄🤘
Yeah looks like a cheap rustler 😁👍 brushless will wake it up, cheers for watching man🍻
Looks like a true 1/10 not like the other 10th scale that are 12th or 14th scale lol
Yep Jim it is a true 1/10 scale as I compared it with my more expensive brushless 1/10 trucks, thanks for watching mate👍
Nice looking truck 🙏👍🙏👍🙏
Thanks for watching Ray 👍
Hows this holding up now mate..
It held up good for the time I had it, I ran and bashed it on 3S in another video I made of it but with a different ESC as the stock one blew and couldn't handle the extra volts
🇮🇪. Cool video
Thanks John 👍🍻
A nice Truggy 👍👍💪
Yeah for the price i think its pretty decent for beginners to the RC hobby 👍
This one is pretty decent. You know how much I liked mine. Was pleasantly surprised by this one. Nice job on this review as always David!
Yes it is pretty decent budget priced rc truck, thanks for watching Ryan
Thanks for the review buddy. I've always been curious about this one. Not too bad as a beginner's truck. Stay safe brother! 👍🍻🇦🇺
Cheers Mike, for the price i think its a decent basher especially to get beginners into the RC hobby as it's a decent scaled size. Will be doing a few simple mods to this one cause being rear wheel drive for a change it will be a fun basher with more power! have a good one brother and thanks for watching 👍
I don’t know why Dave, but I’m actually excited about this big HoSpeed truck!
Maybe it’s because the little HS trucks are really good and tougher than nails! Great video Dave!!!😎
Hi Rob yeah i had the mini Hurricane 1/18 scale version of this new truggy and it was durable as and quick for its small scale, couldn't break it either, only recently moved it on a month ago. This one is pretty decent for the price being more of a 1/10 scale, cheers for watching brother and have a good day 👍🍻
Stock form this looks to be pretty good to do a brushless conversion later on. You know I'm a casual judge of RC cars and trucks though. Good work as always David putting these through the test!
Thanks John 👍
The controller looks like a copy of the old arrma tactic radio,
Thanks for watching Dave
Always a pleasure watching your reviews mate, 👍
Hola desde España....sabríais decirme donde puedo encontrar repuestos........gracias
I'll take px9206 over this anyday
Thanks for watching Henry
Nice review!, would you say this one seems a bit leaning to the toy grade arena rather than the Tornado fc610 leaning towards hobby grade?.
Yes this is more toy grade as it's rated for kids really 8+ on the box
Hiya buddy. Not the most exciting truck out there. I was disappointed with the speed, nearly as much as the 104001. 😂😂 Shocks at first looked way too bouncy but as the video goes on it does a much better job than most with similar shocks. For a 1/8th how much does it weight? Is it lighter for a 1 8th? I'm wondering if the weight is why it's handling so well with the shocks. And for 2wd over those wood chips. Wow. Nice vid! Keep up the great work buddy! 😊👌👍Nice of your local council to make a perfect test ground for your rc tests. Wood chips. Sand. 😂😂👌
Considering the low price point on a budget, I think this is a decent platform for someone that wants to start it on a larger scale truck and get into the RC hobby 😃👍 tbh I’ve had 4x4 brushed 540 trucks the same size as this one in the past that have identical speeds to this rear wheel drive truck. As I mentioned in the video I class this truck as more so a 1/10 scale from other RC brands, it’s basically the same as the JLB cheetah and others that size 😁 thanks for watching John
Is scamer trucks 2wd fake scall, for the price go wltoys 1/12 😉
Yes the wltoys is a better choice, this truck is made for beginners or kids mainly
That can’t be 1/8th it looks more like 1/10 but nice rig
@@GearWorksRc yeah it's really a 1/10 in size comparison to other rc trucks
Damn bro these are great and with your 20%OFF Code an unbelievable price man 😯😳😍👍🏽
Looking forward to some mods from you 😉👍🏽
Have a nice weekend 😊 🙌🏽
Yes its a decent truck for the low price brother, it performed better than I expected especially since it's rear wheel drive 👍😁💯
As you said, you will probably mod this one. Nice job Dave.
I thing its not aa 1/8 scale rc
Its not, I mention in the video its more like a 1/10
Yeah
Hi David. Great video. I decided to take one for my son but we are having problems with the transmiter/ESC/receiver (can't figure it out). There's a lot of lagging in any input (steering and/or throttle). Any guess?
Hi Antonio thanks for watching, now my suggestion would be to make sure all thh connections are plugged into the esc properly, for example the motor positive and negative wires with the bullet connectors are secure and plugged in all the way and also the 5 wire servo wire is plugged in also. other than that make sure you have fresh new AA batteries in the remote and also a fully charged battery as well
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thanks man. I've been trying different solutions and have just realized that using my own 2s lipos seems to solve the problem. So most likely the LiIon one that came with the car is faulty 🤨
Can you do more Kmart reviews
I like them :)
Nothing really worth looking at there atm buddy, maybe closer to Christmas I might see what’s good to look at there, thanks for watching!
