This 60 year old lady loves your content! Keep it up and I always look forward to the next one. May God always bless you and keep you safe in His mighty care!
Stumbled across your channel, and glad I did. Such a great series. Simple without the frills yet effective. Breath of fresh air. Another plus, of all the videos I’ve watched I haven’t once heard, “like” and “subscribe”. We all know what to do on RUclips by now. Thanks for keeping things simple and the way you teach. I’ve learned some valuable lessons just by watching what videos I have.
One thing my Grampa makes is rice, then you add sausage add saurkraut all in the same pot and almost make it like a fried rice. Always love your videos!
It certainly felt great to sit back and relax! I wish I would've made the chair first so I could've spent more time relaxing in it. Thank you for tuning in. Happy trails!
If I may, I'd like to give a praise to your narrative style. Calm, relaxing, you really know how to manage your voice. All in all, great work on that part, too! And additional thx for not singing praises to yourself (even though you definitely deserve those!)
Thanks so much for these fantastic videos -- my boys (4 and 6) and I so enjoy them, they are always very excited on days when I tell them we can watch a "camping video" before going up to bed. They (and I) are so impressed by your skills and ingenuity, true enjoyment of simple pleasures, and most of all by your patience. Many thanks for the chance to vicariously experience these camp excursions with you!
Simple, easy meals that are tasty and filling is all one needs out in the bush. Nice work with the camp axe/bow saw building the chair, practicality and utility abound in your videos, well done. Camp looks great, thanks for the work. See you next time.
For the hard, wooden seat of a chair, they are much more comfortable if a recessed seating are is carved out to “fit your buns” into. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
definitely love your videos they are such an inspiration to get out into nature and just use simle tools and keeping the campsite as basic as can be without harming the nature around you. you're a true wilderness outdoors man id definitly love to go camping with you someday and learn a few things.
Great video! I was surprised at the chair. It was NOT what I expected BUT very nice! May I make one suggestion? Put the coffee in a cloth and tie it up, keeps the grounds out of your cup. May God bless you.
I had planned to make the chair a more elaborate design but opted to keep it simple. Thanks for the tip about the coffee! I'll give it a try. God bless!
You bring something special in your content that comforts people in a tuff world and we enjoy your travels along with your way of life. Always a pleasure!
I just recently found your channel and have been watching/liking all of your older stuff including the trapping channel. Keep the content coming. I always enjoy your primitive methods and craftsmanship.
Yes, glad to see you are living the life that I have lived.(I am fortunate to have a beautiful wife, three wonderful daughters) A couple of good friends.
So glad you are back to regular videos! Such a pleasure to watch. You are my hero! I was wondering if you might be able to do a video on basic camp first aid that the average person might not know. Found it really impressive that you were able to deal with that burn on your finger without really using your first aid kit. Appreciate you!
Thank you for tuning in! I really appreciate the support. I'm not much of an expert on first aid. I know the basics and a few simple natural remedies but that's about it. Maybe in the future after I learn more and can better explain the topic I will put together a video series on wilderness first aid. Happy trails my friend!
Thanks for letting me enjoy your progression in establishing your camp. Your skills in bushcraft are well developed and honed to sharpness. Will anxiously awaiting the next adventure
Mr. K, you are , in my humble opinion, one of the best bush crafters on RUclips. I see a lot of YT'ers bring tons of gear into the wild (and there is nothing wrong with that), but you sir, bring a minimal amount of gear and survive under some of the hardest and coldest of conditions. It has been ages since I went camping, but I feel as if I can vicariously experience camping by watching your adventures. Keep the vids coming and thanks for all of the positive and uplifting content you produce. God bless.
Always a pleasure to watch. Informative and interesting. Such a breath of fresh air from all the other hyped up camping vids. Always looking forward to more. God Bless.
I really enjoy all the camps you make. Would love to share one with you someday. Thanks for making such relaxing, yet interesting content. I love being in the woods myself, so it's natural to come here. All the best from Alaska!
Great video! Love this entire series! Everything you brought with you to this camp is multi use! Hope you will do more videos in this vein! Keep them coming! Be well and have a great day!😊😊😊
I really enjoy watching your videos. I wish I found them sooner. You have a lot of knowledge, a great demeanor and a humble attitude. I hope you get to continue doing this for a long time, I can tell you really enjoy being out there and building/accomplishing the things you do. I would like to offer a suggestion when editing your videos. I can see when you build things like your chair and table, it takes quite a long time to whittle away at the logs. You do a great job of showing just enough of that, and then jump cutting to the next stage. Perhaps you could include a time-lapse or two during some of those stages, so maybe 10 minutes or so gets shown in a 30 second time frame. That way we can envision just how long those processes take, and I think it would offer some more contrast to your videos. Thank you for recording all of this and sharing it with us!
I love the simplicity in whatever you do. Not trying to act like you know everything keeping it to the point. It is like letting us learn alongside you. Subscribed. Amazing channel.
Well a fitting conclusion to a wonderful mini series. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed your adventures and thank you for taking me along with you (virtually of course)! I know life is busy and as such I really look forward to the peace and natural quietness you bring. You yourself ooze peace so that’s so refreshing when watching. I understand how many hours go into editing these vlogs, but please keep making them and let’s see more of you my friend. Best wishes from London 👍🏼
Sir, I don't remember but do you ever use any modern saws like the Silky Saws?...they are quiet impressive! ...or you do things the old school way only? Enjoy your videos, thanks!
I've used folding saws in the past but I much prefer bow saws or hand saws. In my opinion they're more fool proof, easier to maintain/sharpen, and more ergonomic. It really comes down to what works best for each individual person and what they prefer. The bow saw is just my preference. Thanks for watching! Happy trails.
excellent series! always wanted to do something similar but watching you do it has been a great pleasure. very much looking forward to your next adventure. 👍🏼✌🏼🖖🏼
@@KuskBushcraft Every time you upload a new video, I enjoy it while having lunch here in my house in Florida; besides your camping/survival super skills , you also have Grace for cooking my brother, I enjoy it so much 👍👍👍 I wish I could live near a forest , because I love all those things since I was a kid back in Cuba . Sadly, yes. Just a simple series of getting the camp established. Now I can move onto some more elaborate projects filmed from this camp. Thanks for tuning in. Happy trails!

Same here, from another 60 year old lady!😊
Really loved this series. I subscribed. Real down to earth, no fuzz and no excessive gear. Love it❤
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed. Happy trails!

Seeing you sit down on the chair after you completed it was really satisfying. Love your videos.
I enjoyed this series. Fantastic builds at camp with a relaxing vibe. Simple good food as well. Enjoying nature’s offerings to the fullest.
Thank you for tuning in! Happy trails!

Sounds delicious! Thank you for watching!
That "hooof" when you sat in the chair and smiled ...CLEAN LIVIN
That chair was so simple but looked awesome and with that good thick blanket I bet it was a wee slice of heaven. 👍
It certainly felt great to sit back and relax! I wish I would've made the chair first so I could've spent more time relaxing in it. Thank you for tuning in. Happy trails!
Now you need some cigars and the wheels are turning. Great series.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful axe work. Nothing like as easy as you make it look! Greetings from Finland.
Indeed.

Always enjoy your videos!

Great job Ryley! You really are a great craftsman.

Also would appreciate a quick show around your cabin you showed in your winter series on the kusk wild channel
I'll keep that in mind. Perhaps this winter I can film a video from the cabin. Thanks for watching!

As someone from the NWT, it’s neat to finally see someone with the same type of forests and landscape as me. Very rare
Really enjoy the series concept. Camping vicariously thru your videos now because it is too hot in deep east Texas right now.
Thanks for the feedback! Wishing you cooler weather. Happy trails!
