    how does load increase when speed increases? if i dont load the motor when speed increases then load will be constant ?

      If the induced emf of the generator is less than bus voltage then current starts flowing from bus to generator and now the generator acts as differential compound motor

    Differential compound motor is being used in wind turbine pitching system when the grid fails..u are saying it has no application..

    I think as Ia increases series flux increases and hence (shunt flux-series flux) decreases therefore speed increases but due to this reduction in flux electromagnetic torque decreases and hence armature current has to increase for again making Te=TL so again due to increase in Ia series flux increases and hence the cycle repeats and runaway condition happens

      This makes more sense. Thank you. I hate it when after watching 40vids and there comes a point the loop equations don't make sense anymore LOL

    Why not Φse-Φsh?????
