    Looking in vehicles is not vehicle interference, vehicle interference is physical, you have to actually touch the car. Ridiculous

      Exactly AND there must be an intention to commit a crime e.g theft, criminal damage etc, just touching a vehicle is not vehicle interference, people lean and touch other peoples vehicles all the time e.g putting on flyers, notes tickets etc..

    You need to get H N K Solicitors to make a claim against them for unlawful detainment and arrest. Lots of other auditors have used them successfully. Make a Freedom of Information request for the body worn camera footage and the security cameras in the Custody area. You should have a search record and the names and collar numbers of all those involved in the arrest and make a formal complaint against all of them. No charges so it was just a retaliatory arrest and the Sergeant has screwed up big time. Should work out a nice pay day for you.

      Correct; what they do (illegally) is they are hoping to find photo ID. If they can't find that, they look for a bank card. If they find one, they then ask "Is this yours?" If you say "No", they arrest you for handling stolen goods. If you say "Yes" then they have your name. Of course, you shouldn't answer the question, but the FILTH then fall back on th other lie, arresting you on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

    A complete and ridiculous overreaction by the sergeant for arresting you based on a third party claiming you “looked into cars” which in itself is a non crime (vehicle interference is a physical act). The silly sergeant then advised you not to say any more while under caution and then his colleague asked you a question😀. The reality is that you can say as little or as much as you want when under caution, but the more you say the more work for the sergeant to write everything down (obviously that would be too much like hard work for him😀).

    You handled this well, but I’ll say one important thing. Film everything, not sure why you’d carry out a “pre audit” first without cameras on? Opening yourself up to needless issues there, it will also help support a claim if you have uninterrupted footage.
    Lots of videos where auditors are stopped for vehicle interference, seem to always suspiciously start seconds before being confronted. Shows nothing before, so the viewer can’t know, and you can’t prove what really happened.

    • @UKAuditor
      @UKAuditor  День назад

      I appreciate the feedback and I thank you for commenting and watching the video.
      I will keep this in mind, bearing in mind sometimes one forgets to tune on glasses/the camera. To be honest, it's all up to interpretation but the fact I had a "no further action" charge really does show how unlawful the arrest was regardless of filming or not.
