Just turned 50 like a Couple months ago I've listen to them since at least 15 years of age..they have schooled me more than any schools have , punk was not just a fashion nor a fad for some..it actually was who we where and still are.. it was a fight a cry for what we saw wrong in this world ..and the sad part is no one who really listened...they moved forward and picked there political parties and so forth because they thought that was how they could change it and make it better ...nothing changed ! The truth is where you really listening??
They all said we were conspiracy theorists but what we believed is crystallising before our very eyes. This wef shit that's coming is worse than anything we could have seen
I'M BACK FOR MORE SUBS...2021 WITH THIS COVID VIRUS THAT'S KILLING MILLIONS...SO DEVASTATING! I FIND COMFORT IN JAMMING TO THE SUBS IN SO MANY WAYS!! CHEERS MATES..
"This is one of the most important songs ever written", said somebody on youtube. For me, it was the soundtrack of my youth (it came out in 1983) and I pretty much think and feel the same way to this day, cheers
Dick is from Melksham, I seen him in passing a few times, walking around Melksham, chippenham and Trowbridge. This was before I knew who he was, I had just discovered SUBHUMANS and the first time I seen them at a gig, I was like "fuck me, I know you". it was only the drummer from Warminster I think .. Great band though, regardless of location.
I finally got to see them at a pub in Florida a few years ago. By far the best show I've ever seen outside of Bad Brains and Rush...The guys were super cool to sign all my merch. Just heard there coming back soon can't wait
A brilliant song by a brilliant band - one of the few bands I've ever bothered to go see. Strangely, the only other piece of music I can compare this to is '2112' by Rush, and I think that's pretty fu**ed up of me. :/
So you're a corporate puppet now? Once you've lived on the outside of normal society by even just listening to proper punk how can you go back to mindless drudgery of normal living....Career/Wife/Kids/Mortgage and being happy with the MINDLESS rubbish that's on the TV in 2020? Cut loose and get your life back

That's correct, most people mistook punk as being a left wing movement, nope it was far deeper.
Damn right
Men like you have always inspired me. I will gladly take that torch off you hands brother. Oi, up the undead punx!

Truest punk song and band ever...Dick is a true lyricalist... From birth, to school, to work, to the grave!!
Barring absolutely no others, I believe Dick is THE best lyricist.
Full stop!

one of the greatest songs ever written....played by one of the greatest bands EVER!!!!
This song reminds me of an old painting on a wall in my hometown that said " can you imagine a war without soldiers ?"
That's a beautiful thought.
War without soldiers is mob violence, you can watch it on best gore and the like.
Without a shadow of doubt the best punk song EVER written and I'm proud to say that I'm from the same town (Warminster in Wiltshire UK) as Subhumans

this song actually stopped me from joining the army....I wasn't about to fight someone else's war....
I bought this first pressing imported vinyl when it came out, been spinning ever since.
Epic, simply epic... Why does this not have more views!

Eric it doesn't have more views because people listen to shite they don't know good music like this!!!
Hillery Shaw couldn't have said it better myself!!!
Sorry Hillery, but musicial taste is completely subjective.
You're of course right@@suxbnu. So is Hillery.
Love the bolts
It took this song the make the decline
I know Dick, but you just have to make the best of it and crack on mate.
Total Masterpiece.
Don't agree with the message at all anymore, but in my teens, it was a lot of fun to think that I knew what was up.
