I am sorry to say but South Africa was disappointing. I don't know how many people agree with me but there was definitely something off about Bryoni the entire time she was on stage. The performance was lackluster, she was not confident enough and looked nervous. The walk was also stiff. I am saying this not because I hate but because I had really high expectations from her after seeing her journey from MSA to MU and now to MS. I am sure something was wrong with her. Her performance was just not there. The gown was beautiful but it needed a stunning performance.
Elegence Round for me was 1. Brazil 2. India 3. Thailand 4. Czech Republic 5. South Africa followed by UK, US, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, and Indonesia. I think Bryoni looked divine and gave an amazing performance, but I put her a little lower because her dress was a little lose. Performance wise, she was top 3 though imo. I personally didn't like the colour of India's dress. I think a slightly darker colour would have suited her more, but she performed the hell out of it. Brazil was amazing. Thailand was great, if not a bit predictable. Czech Republic looked beautiful but was a little boring.

I hated most of the gowns, but did like Croatia, Finland, Gibraltar, India, Malta, Ukraine and USA. The plainer the better for me. I was so pleased to see that most of the contestants didn't have the exaggerated hip movement, that you often see, as it is so unnatural.
South Africa will get in on the strength of her intelligence. I can’t decide if she did poorly or is it because I had such high expectations which she did not meet.
Some stunning rokkies but a few OTT ones, too. Brazil was just breathtaking and that green on Bryoni was just WOW, but i did see the situation at tfe back. And Venezuela!!! So stylish. The dress reminded me of Alicia Machado's MU winning dress.
Those meshes annoy me,are they really necessary?Wearing Zuleyka's dress is quite audacious😂.My poor Italian queen,she's a last minute replacement and she had to settle for a dress that didn't fit.Thailand and South Africa were the best,just wow!
South Africa’s gown was a masterpiece. I wonder if there is enough time to alter it before the finals. My favorite designs were worn by Cuba, India, the Dominican Republic (simplicity worked), Nepal, and South Africa. We disagree about Spain’s. I love the architectural elements that marked the plane changes in her body even though the cape was distracting. Many of these gowns were beautiful, but not meant for a few of the candidates who wore them unfortunately. An older, younger, or five-inch taller contestant would have carried them more gracefully. Imagine Cote d’Ivoire in Argentina, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador (without the plastic boa), Trinidad and Tobago, or Haiti’s gown. Peru and Philippines gowns were also unsuitable for them. ‘Nough said about Guatemala’s gown. Talk about a design for an older or taller sister. Something could have been done about the color to make us wonder where we had seen the design in 2000-something. While watching the performance, some previous critiques echoed in my head. The comment that stands out most was about the ghostly effect created by Paraguay’s black gown. Ditto to Japan’s Cherry Blossoms. I think that particular palette would look great on very dark skin. Slovakia’s gown was distracting because it had too many elements. Denmark’s “Little Mermaid” and Myanmar and Malaysia’s dragon motifs were a bit cliche. Italy's nightie wasn’t bad but it brought to mind Lucy Westenera trying to hide a hickey on her neck. Thanks for sharing.
I felt sorry for the girls. they tired. Walking on a carpet ramp is no easy task, bryoni still did well, Was a bit disappointed in the dress. what happened to the back of the dress. was she sabotage
