I just got a fragrance that's a tribute to the original formula of Drakkar Noir from the last millennium. Genuine oakmoss and all. Its called Bon Monsieur by Rogue Perfumery. It's incredible and unbelievably transportive if you wore Drakkar back in the day.

IMO Shagaff and Karus smell very similar, the oud accord is a little bit more prominent in the Shagaff with less of an emphasis on the tonka wheras the Karus is more sweet with an added floral twist in the opening

It has elements of Cedrat Boise and more of a twist but I love Dumonts Bravanzo Imperial . It is suppose to be a clone of Electimuss Imperium but to me it is a combination of Elysium, Ani , and Cedrat Boise- fresh , fruity , sweet, and woodsy. Very versatile.

It is definitely not average, it projects from the clothes strongly the whole day and the scent goes away only when you wash them. The same juice could easily be sold for 100+ bucks under a famous designer name.
