Pointing him in right direction? Is that what Jesus Christ the Lord did? He literally WALKED with them. Our grocery store used to point people in the direction of what they're looking for, now they walk with you, make sure you find it. If it's not there they go find out what's going on. This service is Christ-like.
As a pastor, Ray, you are required to get him help for suicidal thoughts. You sound disconnected from that. Understand, your ministry for debating the issues is a gift from God. Now, show us how you've learned to find appropriate counsel and assistance for those with suicidal thoughts. Alert: It's NOT handing him a book.
You can see they were raised with morals and respect, I pray the Lord touches their hearts and to release an bad suicidal omens lingering around that young man.

@@johnjames1590 I think it's like suicide is the symptom, not the problem. The problem really is how dark this world is, and if you dont have the light of his holy spirit, it's all dark around you all the time.
@connor grant True enough, of course Jesus would prevent such things. However it doesn't explain why this is only a colossal problem in the west, keep in mind that western countries are still mainly Christian.
I suspect there is something causing it, I don't know what exactly. It could be poisons in the food or water or vaccines. It could be technology with the staring at your phone all day lifestyle, or radio waves like they're plotting with the 5g. Or it could be the philosophy that is being taught in the -indoctrination- education system.
If it's this last one, their actual thinking method itself is corrupted, and they don't even realise it. Ie; suicide literally makes sense, and doesn't seem as horrific as it does for us. This is particularly pernicious because they wouldn't even be aware that it's not REALLY their thoughts. For example, i'm sure you've noticed that when we talk about young earth creation, the atheists immediately THINK we are only saying it because WE are biased (which is ironic), but the secular scientists have no bias, rather they are simply reporting what the latest intelligence on scientific matters is (as we both know though, they concoct theories that exclude the Divine as a rule).
I don't know what it is, maybe it's a accumulation of twenty things wrong with western society right now. I just know it's not a coincidence. Furthermore, the people that choose to live the lgbtp lifestyle have a FAR higher suicide rate than normal people, so is it fair to include that? Wouldn't it be much more accurate to say that the lgbtp lifestyle itself makes them more depressed and insane? Obviously it is. Which makes me wonder why all of sudden people are choosing to be gay as well, they probably do have strange lustful thoughts, but why? Is it a coincidence? I don't know how old you are, but only a decade or two ago we didn't have nearly as many effeminate men, why are so many effeminate (many aren't even gay they are just not manly at all)?
There's something making them this way. Saying "it's Satan" isn't a complete answer. Obviously it's Satan, but what's Satan doing to make them all take the same road?
It is the evil spirits roaming around putting thoughts in us, bad thoughts of suicide and other sins. If we saw the spiritual world we would be horrified. That's why we need the armor of God in us to protect us. Beside suicidal thoughts, the spirits of hell are fighting to destroy families, so please fight to keep your families together strong because without families there will be even more suicides following divorces and so on. God healed my mother from stage 4 breast cancer! God is still alive!

@@joshuavd5194 yes i do because i remember God waking me up in the middle of the night and telling me to pray over my mom and i remember God intervened and placed my hands right where the cancer was. And 2 days later at the hospital the doctors were shocked because they didn't find the cancer anymore. She also never had chemotherapy. They found the cancer in December of 2014 and in beginning of January 2015 was when God healed her. ❤

hedied413, I believe Ray did the wrong thing. To the best of my knowledge, he is not trained to counsel someone with thoughts of suicide.
Same is true for most pastors and church staff.

I needed this video. really bad, I was raised a christian but as growing up this year I had a lot of question and I'm searching for God because I want him and I need him. I always pray for him to reveal himself to me. please if you read this pray for me for that toppic because it hurted me to have these thoughts. but I understand myself and I think God understands me and I want him to forgive me that I'm searching and asking questions, but I really want to believe with knowledge, not because I was raised to. This man really convinced me
Look into christian apologetics, this guy uses them sometimes, it's using real world evidence that God exist, for example the fine tuning of the universe is what I believe the strongest proof of God. We also do see that Jesus birth, life and death was predicted hundreds of years before he was born. Actually historians have proof that Jesus did exist. And yes I hope you've admitted from the bottom of your heart that you are guilty and accepted Jesus as your savior :) there's one thing God never turns away and that's a broken and guilty heart.

The reason why the world is like this is because God created us with free will. God couldn’t make us robotic. He is a God of love and that’s why we got free will. Only thing Eve messed it up because of the devil and so Jesus came to help us and now we have to fight for our salvation. I was hoping he’d mention the part about free will...
Some things about what you wrote here made me want to reply, just to clarify a few things for you and/or others who might read this.
First of all, it's true God did create us with free will so we could chose for or against Him. However, Eve did not just mess up because of the devil, she chose to eat the fruit herself because she put her trust in a created thing instead of her Creator. What's more, she desired that fruit because she thought it would 'make her wise' (Genesis 3:6). She thought that this act of disobedience in front of the God who created her and knows better would make her like that God! That's the root of sin: our tendency to put ourselves on the same level as God, disrespecting who He is. So, yes, the devil did talk to Eve to deceive her, but Eve herself chose to listen.
Secondly, Jesus indeed came to rescue us, and in doing so He established our salvation. It's true that we should continue to "work out our salvation" as it says in Philippians 2:12, however this salvation is already given to us by God through Jesus Christ. There is nothing we have done or can do to earn it. (Check out Ephesians 2, especially verses 8 and 9)

Surely you’ve read Paul’s letters in the Bible...”So now I have the grace of God and guess what I’m gonna do today, I’m gonna go out and sin”...So there is something you HAVE to do, and that is turn away from sin. I keep seeing this water down gospel where people just think they have salvation because Christ died and he already covers us. Yeah he covers us but you have to REPENT and FLEE FROM SIN...

I pray for both of these young men. My faith in Jesus saved me from depression and anxiety. I too had suicidal thoughts but when I surrendered to God and was constant in prayer the Lord saved me. I have never been happier. Praise Jesus!
@@flaminghell9572 No placebo effect. When I was in prayer I prayed to be closer to my father. I wanted to know him better, I wanted to live for him. I couldn't do his will in the state I was in so he washed me clean and I was reborn. It was the most amazing experience anyone will ever go through. I pray everyone can experience God's love.

They were so respectful... there is hope for a man when he humbles himself and listens and even greater when he listens and heeds then doing the work of the words. By faith we are saved and salvation comes by hearing rhe word of God.

hi, sorry but i think u missed something when the guy said “if gods powerful and he created us, why are kids suffering...” well it’s free will. If god wanted everyone to be perfect and worship him, he could’ve just made robots. but he wanted us to really mean the things we do and have the choice to believe in him. we also have a choice either to continue living not in alignment with his kingdom or do live a life in alignment with him and his kingdom. 😊

Two of the most polite, respectful young men I've seen in a long time. I will pray for these brothers to accept Christ. What their father has done is a shame. The pressure and anxiety always gets past onto the children. I will pray for their father as well, so he realizes what he's done. These young men belong to Jesus NOT the Devil ! May God keep them close and bless them.
I grew up in the church but didn't have a relationship with God. One day I was about to lose my life. With no time to spare, I screamed "Jesus!", and He saved me. God had a purpose for my life, and I trust Him.
