20:56: The clocks don't really slow down your timer; they're just used to help keep your score up, because, in case you hadn't noticed at the time, you're score drains during the "Pizza Time" escape, meaning all your hard work, all that you've stressed over will be taken from you if you don't hurry, adding even _MORE_ stress (sheesh, no wonder Peppino's so neurotic and high-strung)!
P.S., RecD, a content creator who makes lyrics for Friday Night Funkin' songs just released their own lyrics for "Pizza Time," and it... well, it ACCURATELY sums up how Peppino (and by extension, you, me, and everyone else who plays the game as him) feels when the level is threatening to collapse on him!

That one blocky guy you found in the Pizzascape level is the janitor, he opens up secret doors in the levels that holds treasures. There's a treasure for every level and getting them all unlocks the true ending of the game! Don't stress to get em though, some of the doors are hard to find
Gotta say this is definitely one of the best games to come out in a while.

This game and hifi rush equally, both of those games made me feel like I was back in a time where games were focused on being fun and creative.

Mikey, this one is among the top brass of indie games. I highly recommend playing it, it's very fun. You can either take it at your pace or speed run it.
If you do, I'd like to offer some ponters as someone who beat the game not that long ago. Note that there is a lot to note and Peppino has a lot of movement options.
That taunt button is very helpful, because that also serves as a parry. If you get a 10 combo, you get a super taunt that acts as a screen nuke. Up and taunt for it.
Alternatively, if you hold taunt you break. dance.
There are two ranks higher than A. S and P. If you want them, go back into levels you've beaten to find an important part of getting them.
The janitor you pick up, Gerome, is your key to getting each treasure in each level. You’ll have to look around. Wall run up any wall with a high ceiling, check for any fake walls, explore every way possible.
You can cancel the super jump with a grab, keeping your momentum.
Holding up and pressing grab does an uppercut. It can even be done in the air to act as a double jump.
Secret Areas are hidden in areas that are marked by something. Usually eyes.
This is a lot, so feel free to experiment. Peppino is genuinely fun to play and mastering speed and control of him is essentially becoming an unhinged Italian running at Mach speeds like a car.

Here are some tips for funny pizza game.
- taunting doubles as a parry and when your combo is high enough it acts as a screen clear.
- you can spam grab when high on a wall to wall run. It’s a beginner friendly way to do it until you get the hang of things
- you have an uppercut attack that pepino can do. If I’m not mistaken “it’s grab while holding up” to do it.
- there are 3 secrets and a treasure in each level. Collecting all the treasures gets the true ending. But it’s not necessary
- oh yeah and don’t kill snotty

Also, don't stress about your performance; EVERY RUclipsr I've seen who's played this game has struggled with it. It was designed with speedrunners in mind, but it's also designed for replayability, achievement hunting, exploration, etc., so don't get _too_ intimidated by it. Take as much time as you need! Learn from your mistakes and get better at the game! Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and become the best middle-aged pizza-chef you can be! You only truly lose if you give up and don't try!

He may stumble when the game throws a curveball, but once he gets it, he does better. He adapts and learns.
It also helps that he has a positive attitude.

I _DO_ know of Vinny though (can't believe I didn't mention him). However, uh... I don't think they were the _first_ Vinesauce to play Pizza Tower, however. That distinction, insofar as I'm aware of it, belongs to the other Vinesauce guy.
The one with the Nordic or Scandinavian name (I hope I didn't get their nationality or heritage wrong; because I know that the people of Northern Europe and their descendants are not a monolith, that not all of the Northern Peoples are Scandinavian , but rather "Nordic," that Icelanders and Faroese speak a Northern Germanic language, and I know that Finland is not "Swedish" but "Uralic" instead, and other myriad worries). I believe their name is... "Vargskelethor?" His videos are dated a couple of days earlier than Vinny (not sure about Joel though).
And just because I was one of the first subscriber to his channel when he came over from Twitch (and thus could perhaps use a shout-out or plug to get him more viewers and recognition), there's this Vtuber guy called Pixel Beat's Not-So-Secret-Stash whose videos I also reacted to.
He was very good at the game and super determined to get all the P-Rankings; I enjoyed his videos and his avatar was cool too!😄
As a italian, i can say thats true that we fight evil pizza in their enemy tower that tries to destroy our pizzeria with our speed and madness
this game is amazing, and doing every level is 100% worth it. every level and boss is unique and fun, so definitely do everything new on cam!

The reason peppino bites his hand is because it’s an Italian gesture, biting index finger to control self, exaggerated to biting the whole hand.
Mikeeey did you know that your taunt or funny pose can be used for 2 things
1. It can be used to parry attacks
2. It can be used to get a few points to add to your score

Please do a series this game is amazing I just finished beating it and trust me it’s worth it.
5:30: Actually, Peppino loves Pizza; he loves cooking it, serving it, and owning his _ristorante_ ; what he _doesn't_ love is unnecessary stress! Like rent and bills, the IRS breathing down his neck threatening to repossess his restaurant (which is also his home, making the situation even MORE desperate for poor Peppino), and then, to top all THAT off, he's now facing the forces of the evil Pizza Face, who's threatening to destroy his _ristorante_ , his safe space, his HOME... for pure shits and giggles!
Now Peppino Spaghetti must do battle with Pizza Face and his legions of pizza-themed minions in a bid to save everything he treasures dearly, perhaps even more than his own life!
Aiding him in this endeavor are Gustavo the Gnome (who isn't his brother; they never even met each other before the events of this game, but Gustavo opted to help Peppino out because he's such a nice guy) and Mister Stick (a shady grifter with gambling addictions to pay off and a personal, if extremely petty, grudge against Pizza Face for knocking him out of the sky during the intro cinematic, getting his business suit dirty; that's LITERALLY the only reason he's offering to help you, in addition to making money off your efforts to ascend the Pizza Tower... by saving the Toppins, those little guys in the cages, they give you money to pay off Mister Stick, which if you have enough, he "rents" a Boss Gate out to you, which is the only way to progress up the Tower, since beating the Boss grants you a Key to the Next Floor).
Peppino is in a constant state of panic
The story of the game is that your a person that works at a pizza place and one day, an evil pizza named pizza face threatens to destroy your pizza place (which basically means all of your hard work is turn to dust). Naturally, you get super ticked of and now you need to destroy the pizza tower, or you pizza place turns into mush.

To get a P-Rank you gotta collect all of the 5 toppins, have a no running combo, find all of the secrets, do lap 2, don't take any damage and uhhh that's basically it
To P-Rank a boss
Just take no damage so the parry thing is very useful for bosses
And yes the intro at the beginning where those 4 guys are, they are bosses
Also, the small little dude who works with Peppino Spaghetti is not his brother, it's his buddy or mate or friend named Gustavo and Gustavo's friend is a rat, you'll find out the rat's name when you play Gnome Forest :)))
Also did you know you can parry stuff by pressing C on projectiles and attacks before getting hurt on them?

So for a S rank you have to get damaged a little bit like 1 and 2 damage and you get a s rank
For the P rank get no damage for the boss and get no damage and go to lap 2 and go really faster and make to the exit until you get a P rank

You actually learned way faster than some others youtubers that I watched. I just think you have a bad eye for secrets, but like, i'm literally the guy with a metroid profile pic so my opinion about that is not the most reliable since i'm very used to search for them.

The empty room near most level entrances/exits will only contain something during the escape, but only if you go through the entire level and back *without getting hit.* If you succeed, Lap 2 will be available as well as an opportunity to attempt *P Rank.* You must also do Lap 2 hitless and reach the exit without running out of time and waking Pizzaface to obtain that rank.
Final advice is that in every level there's a secret ingredient. You'll need the Janitor in order to open the Janitor Chamber that holds it. The secret ingredient is important to help out a friend of his...
You dont have to be hitless, being hit reduces the combo time by 1 or 2 seconds and you lose a little points thats all.
