I really like your projects. Now, for a suggestion if I may, as to the lighted switch tower, when you have bent out the tabs, do not bend them back down, all they need to hold the building on is a slight twist or kink. This facilitates future light bulb changes. Thank you for your excellent channel.
Only one was bent down, the rest were twisted which seems to be what Flyer did---I've never found a Lionel tab twisted---I un-twisted and re-twisted the tabs and now have a light---thanks for the info. 🙂🙂
Nice motorized dump car project. I am guessing there is a trolley motor mounted in one of the trucks. You are right to straighten the twisted tabs on the underside of the AF switch tower to replace the bulb.
That's just what I did. Put the new bulb and gave the four tabs a slight twist. Yes, I motorized a series 10 truck. I built it like a trolley motor and can change it out to another truck at any time. I'm thinking about building a second one and have two power trucks on it.
Your tinkering and fabrications are incredible. I enjoy this channel and your ideas ! Thank You 👍👍👍
Nice seeing them run during an update. Hope the walk was a good one.
