My dad was a shaman and when the bathroom was still there a long time ago, he had to stop there to use the bathroom really bad. He said it was really creepy and scary place, but as a shaman, he had his spirit guides to help him feel secure. As he got out of his car, he could hear whispers, lots of talking and laughing. He could see them all creeping up to him. He said they were unlike any creatures from this earth. He was scared, but he walked up to the bathroom and did his business. Around him, there was chit chattering and things talking to him, taunting him, but he ignored them. As he walked out, there were things hanging on the bathroom roof, in the bushes, standing his way. He said, he couldn't wait to get out of there and never stopped there, again.

I live in Green Bay and this is very true. The bathroom is no longer there but from what I heard, and old native couple committed suicide at that rest stop. I still get chills driving pass that area.

My sister & her now ex-husband was driving through Hwy 29 to MN and back one year. She said they were driving back to GB late at night and her ex was snoozing away, it was her up by herself when saw in her rear view mirror a lantern floating and chasing behind them for quite a distant. She was scared and trying to loose it. At that time she didn’t know Hwy 29 was haunted.

What kind of husband are you, you should be standing at the women's bathroom and wait for her. My husband when we go on road trips, if there is no women or people there at the rest stop he would go with me and hold the women's door open so i go in there and i won't be scare and I would do he same for him. You are a no good husband, she is pregnant, what happens if there was a bad person in the bathroom huh, he could have killed her or hurt her and the baby.

That’s odd.....I always travel hwy 29 from Green Bay to MN, and I’ve never experience anything paranormal. Thanks for scaring the shit out of me now....hopefully she/he (spirit) is no longer there....😳

My friend’s brother past away on that road. ….There was this one time on that road, we saw a floating trash bag in the air but it wasn’t moving or waving with the wind, it was like its stuck in time. So weird.

How does a lot of people claims this is true? I can guarantee you there is no Rest stop from Wausau to GB. Point me a rest stop on 29, no rest stop from 94 to Wausau, Wausau to GB. Sounds Bogus. Now if you tell me there’s a rest stop on 10 and I would believe ghost story on 10. Drove to Wausau from Twin City every weekend, where do you see a rest stop where it splits?

There' re rest stops in Menominee off 94. But from Wausau hwy 29 to GB, there're none that I know of. Perhaps gas stations?
