As I've explored your videos, Terry, and watched similar algorithmicly-suggested ones along the way, I realized that "chosen one" is a more popularly expressed term than I first realized and wondered why that is. I enjoy your videos as they resonate with my beliefs - beliefs that nobody in my personal life seem to understand or share. The path that helped develop these beliefs does feel scripted, as if I was chosen. I describe it as the universe leading me in subtle ways. However, despite this feeling of potentially being chosen, I prefer not to call it that. "Chosen" is a broad general term that may imply randomness, as if to say someone could be randomly chosen at any time for any reason. This does not concur with my beliefs. Instead, I use "self-actuated". It's more accurate to me. For me, I put in the hard work, kept my moral code, and over time, was rewarded with a deep understanding of spirituality. I wasn't chosen. I earned it. For me, I dated a bpd many years ago. That horrible relationship yielded the greatest lessons. That was but one part of my long winding journey. Basically, keep taking the right turns. Keep doing the right things. Understanding will come. It's not chosen. It's earned.

As I've explored your videos, Terry, and watched similar algorithmicly-suggested ones along the way, I realized that "chosen one" is a more popularly expressed term than I first realized and wondered why that is.
I enjoy your videos as they resonate with my beliefs - beliefs that nobody in my personal life seem to understand or share.
The path that helped develop these beliefs does feel scripted, as if I was chosen. I describe it as the universe leading me in subtle ways.
However, despite this feeling of potentially being chosen, I prefer not to call it that. "Chosen" is a broad general term that may imply randomness, as if to say someone could be randomly chosen at any time for any reason. This does not concur with my beliefs.
Instead, I use "self-actuated". It's more accurate to me. For me, I put in the hard work, kept my moral code, and over time, was rewarded with a deep understanding of spirituality. I wasn't chosen. I earned it.
For me, I dated a bpd many years ago. That horrible relationship yielded the greatest lessons. That was but one part of my long winding journey.
Basically, keep taking the right turns. Keep doing the right things. Understanding will come. It's not chosen. It's earned.
Human beings are creatures of habit. If you change your habits and do the right things for a while, that's what going to feel right. If you pick up bad habits they will feel familiar. Habits can be hard to change. Bad food, overeating, too much salt or sugar, too many days of inactivity or half assing it. Choices are there from one moment to the next, from one thought to the next. Pause. Think before you act. Think. Is the keyword here. Be the person who you were before you picked up this shit. Get rid of stuff you don't need. Stop carrying around stuff. Give away the good stuff to people who will use it. It's time for this. Too many distractions even hobbies can take you away from self examination. It needs to be done now. There's a feeling that we have been given more time to refine ourselves. Another chance to do better. Be kinder. Share more. Talk more or talk less depending on who you are. Connect with people instead of these ffing screens. Life was better before screen time
