    This is a video showing the work that I did to change the hydraulic fluid on the John Deere 450C track loader. The hydraulic filter fell apart in the tank and it needed to be pulled out and cleaned.
    I filled the tractor with 303 universal tractor fluid and its back up and working fine.

    Could you show a video of where and how your auxiliary outlets hook up from hydraulic power source. Wanting to pull a scraper with mine.

      I will try and get one next time I am out there. It is a full time flow line though, so you would need to add a diverter valve in there to operate the scraper up and down. This setup was for a backhoe with valves on the hoe.

    How do you change transmission oil... I've got milky oil leaking out around pto shaft

      There is a drain plug under the transmission and a filler under the seat. Also change the filter in the front grill.

    Hi did you clean the siv on the bottom off the tank

    • @SeidelRanch
      @SeidelRanch  3 года назад +1

      I did clean out the tank but don't remember seeing anything at the bottom. The draw for the pump in mine is a metal tube that comes up half way in the tank.

      @@SeidelRanch that's the return there's a metal cup with a handle you push down and the whole unit comes out with the filter

      @@andrewstewart9054 I need to check that. I did not see that and could be part of the slowness I have been seeing. It's always been slow so I figured it was just the flow of the unit. Thanks for pointing that out. I will see what it has.

    What's the filter number and gasket number? The john Deere dealer can't find it.

      You probably can, but I pulled mine off to clean it really good when it was empty.
