Fun video. But a bit off. First, you should always (at least) try to level the total station(or any measuring machine). Second, it would be wise to set the station in the middle of the field. You can use the full 360 circle, measure in both legs (first leg and 180 reverse). No problems whatsoever with visability. Distances would be almost the same lengths. You may use a small tripod to stabilise the measuring rod and measure for longer time (continious tracking mode, 3sec, 10sec mode?). S6 with R6 (GPS) is a nice piece of equipment, even though it could be considered outdated in 2020.
Sure is expen$ive just to measure that. Curious, what is the purpose of that and roughly what kind of cash do you make for doing that? Seems the money would be staking the field out versus just measuring?
