Robert Hart was the reason Paul Rodgers wanted to reunite. Imho Robert Hart made Bad Company sound fresh all over again & Bad Co really didn't need Rodgers anymore & that scared Paul. Company Of Strangers is one of the best Bad Company albums ever imo.
I'd never known about this guy (taking over for Paul Rodgers), and so I was like: yeah, nah when I realised. Haha. But after listening to a song pop up on my phone on my walk & I found out that it's THAT guy ^ I was like gtfo of here?!! Mr Hart is quite awesome actually 👌 You're The Only Reason is one of my new fave tunes. Still surprised & delighted... yeah, it took me a while before I found out, lols 😉 ❤
I saw them with Robert at a show in Merrillville Indiana at the Holiday Star mid 90's.They warmed up Ted Nugent and i thought it should be the other way around.I went out and bought "Company of Strangers" ASAP.Every rock song on that is great.The slower ones.....eh.Down and Dirty Baby..!!.....Well as i listen more i must add ....this was the exact tour i saw.As he mentions Uncle Ted before belting out the song Rock Steady.
I'm a huge Paul Rodgers fan. Robert Hart has a similar style. He's excellent. Still he's not Paul Rodgers. Paul Rodgers is extraordinary. But I greatly enjoyed this.
