I live in the Mojave in southern Nevada, but my favorite desert is the Sonoran hands down. I love Saguaro National Park, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and just the Sonoran in general. If you haven't been there, you have to go!
One time I heard a big bird just flapping its wing around that area by casa grande the bird was so big it made wind i could say it was like 6 or 7 feet we just seen when it was already flying but from the distance u could just hear it flap it was crazy never knew wat it was

This was most likely shot in central/southern Arizona in the US, or possibly northern Mexico. I know that doesn’t help too much but it’s a jumping off point at least haha

The Sonoran is the greenest/lushest in the world. Many other deserts are not like this
