He's just a troll. I had my picture taken with him and he said "look into my eyes like you love me"
He’s so funny.
Omg, What a person!
While taking our picture he said: I‘m not gonna have your babies.
Didn't expect his personality to actually be exactly like his music
haha
i expected he was like 20 or 30 xD HES 50!! he must be 60 now!! wat! but also yeah the personality is also verry extreme xD
omg! xD
@@iamxerbear1 yeah he wasn't serious in this interview lol.
@@katalantra lol he's 46 today so 34 or younger in this interview.
Jajajaja
"I discovered I could hear"
Absolutely incredible, what a unique talent!
Vsnares whole set is like the finale of a Aphex set
Easy on the ears, easy on the eyes.
What a great man. He really doesn't give a fuck.
"I get my inspiration from THAT guy"
Aaron Funk. What an amazing man
You are already talented..
Look at that shit 😅
i love how he always raises the tempo of his own tracks. like they aren't violent enough haha :D oh funk!
The hungarian album isn't that violent.
@@darianelwood5946 I feel like Második Galamb was quite violent, other than that I get what you mean, the other tracks were very finely made, and not as chaotic as some of his other works
Sometimes, I fucking wonder how this guy makes such awesome music.
Renoise tracker and the and Skills of Aaron + his melted brain = Venetian Snares
"I am in France now... Oh boy!"
LOL
These are the best non-answers in the world.
"Would like to watch me injure a French man?" Seriously, is there anyone that wouldn't ? :D
Blad3r wins comment of the year
best brkcore artist alive
RIP Qebrus
@@holy4470 quebecore?
hell yeah !
Something about Mr. Funk (“Venetian Snares”) looks like a metal, horror core dude rather than a techno musician. That’s awesome!
Well it’s definitely not techno either
calling this techno is like saying beatles did kpop
It’s more than techno.
techno
Not really if u look at the aphex twin guy they have a similar eccentric yet genius personality & long haired loner vibe. Some themes of his music is body horror or sexual crime true but thats in the album art and song titles not the sound..
i would love too drink a few beers with this dude.
Woah ! He said 'twat' correctly . That's rare for Americans and Canadians
Its very clearly seen that
the unstable and erratic patterns of his music
represent his own mind
It's insane.

I love this guy as a artist, no lie but when I listen to him I feel very scattered... It's good therapy for me but I can only listen for so long before I start to get a bit too lost... his talent = ridiculously amazing though. I like how when he was asked who he was inspired by he just points at some random guy... lol funny stuff. your music is crazy but just splendid.
i'm going to tell my kids this was Disco
I LOVE VENETIAN SNARES !!!!
The best! And we can not compare his music and his great sound!
Wonderful, brilliant and carrying ..
Thank you Aaron!
C'est un fou, avec une musique de fou! J'aime!
I like it!
Respect to this man. He does not give an absolute fuck about anything and is pushing the boundaries of music and madness.
he comes from canada and his name is aaron
The bringer of brutal beats.
how high was he when they interviewed him?
that is what I would like to know.
He's up there
I think 0 maybe. Sone people just cray
He has said in other interviews that he doesn't do drugs
@@gickygackers his riders definitely contradict that lol
He's never sober.
this man is such a mood
"where do i get my inspiration?"
F u c k i n g E v e r y t h i n g
Yup quotes of the year, I'll love Aaron more than ever after this shit 🤣
This dude is amazing! I love his music. He seems like a cool guy to hang with.
damn and he's actually 46 now lol
2008 was a cool time
Hell Yeah ! Oui putain !
a creative genius
yeah
This guy would make a great GTA NPC.
"Would you like to watch me injure a frenchman?"
I couldn’t live without Aaron.
I will never forget the night in the WUK Vienna where my knees and feet had to survive Venetian Snares followed by µ-ziq 💯🕴
sajtban
I love how this is the only interview we really have of him
Nu uh
@@Porwn I mean there's one other one but it was difficult to watch. They had a translator translating from one language to another and he was still trolling them.
Best interview ever!
OMG!!! thank you! :P
If the synthesizers, micro-phones, drum machines, and computers didn't exist would Aaron Funk be:
1.) A frozen corpse in Winnipeg?
2.) A homeless viking impersonator?
3.) A homeless snob in Haight Ashbury, who is smug about not having a home?
4.) A suit-and-tie wearing Wallstreet trader who beats up Frenchmen?
I'm gona pick #4....but it could be a toss up between that and 1 possssibly 3 ? 😂
Wish more interviews were as weird as this.
He looks like someone who would watch Vargskelethor
x‑D
I've been looking for this.
hell yea
thanks !
@@MaxRecMag no sir thank you!
geniuses revel in being aloof.
well said !
the music interspersed with his nonsensical answers is so great lol
Thx man ! it's totally him inspireted :)
I would really like to see him live some day
Make it happen !
it’s pretty amazing.
Wait, he dead?
Best interview ever.
Listening to venetian snares didn't expect any one else making that music
I love this interview, funny as funk XD
fuuny how he takes mundane questions and gives hillarious answers.
V-Snares ftw!
This guy is so awesome.
Dude, you're my hero! Catch a like, pal!
He's so awesome
Thanks my dude
My grandchildren will know about him.
he is pretty sexy ^^ so is his music. been a VS fan for a couple years
Merci pour cette interview, c'est rare de pouvoir entendre Venetian snare, en plus avec les sous titres fr, ça le fait trop du lourd!
Tu sait si Il vit toujours en France?
Bro the set in this video looks fucking NUTS
thx to you! better than you thought ;) regards
Somewhere in the multiverse is Vsnare as president....
And elswhere....a planet full of aarons being aarons....
Using the sounds of frenchmen beatdowns as their drum samples ....
Excellent !!!
this is some of the most elaborate music I've ever heard
He's been pretty popular for about a decade tbh, he's hardly obscure in the scheme of things!
i listen to both dubstep and breakcore, i listen to my own death
speaking, sounds, music, etcetera, i knew all aboot it
I love all his answers. what a down-to-Earth dude.
and his name is Funk how cool is that shit
Lol he's like a guy who's been influenced by Aphex Twin' s creepiness too much lmao
this dude deals with breakcore. aphex twin does drill and base
@@rorz999 Either way, Aaron is far more talented than RJD.
@@aramchek Nah they're all god fathers, Datach'i, Venetian Snares, Squareousher, Aphex Twin.
@@aramchek lol no
@@AGR02nd And?
It's a genre of its own.
He sounds so spun out, but that just makes him all the more awesome!
2:31 HE SAID IT! HE SAID THE THING!
Je l'adore! C'est lui le premier que j'ai écouté! Et j'espère le de dernier! Trop trop bon! un fou XD
Breackcore/idm artists are so inspiring AHHHH
met him about a week ago, strange, brilliant man
I knew all aböüdit
@karsown You just made my night with that comment, THANK YOU.
lovesss venetian!!!
Why is this type of music so popular in France? It's just intriguing. Sounds cool
This guy is really weird and funny, and a genious of electronic music of course
the only word he says that i truly believe he means is 'help'
yeah, i was there too, hell be at the key club in LA next thursday with wisp... dont miss it!
OMG Aaron does the best fucking interview ever! He is so fucking awesome!!!
Genius!
i want to shake your hand your the first dude that doesnt insult or go crazy over pointless stuff !
If a song has dancable rhythem, it takes all the challenge out of it! It's a test, you can see!
catchy?! yeah im singing along right away :D
Sooooo fucking pissed that Vsnares canceled the Arizona date on this tour with Wisp. I was so stoked to see him.
genius
this is rad.
Holy shit, I would kill to see Szycag performed live (2:42) Funny ass interview too! ^_^
haha i could listen to him for hours
number 1
@saveUPR
Thanks man!
I am not at that show right this instant, and that makes me sad.
THAT GUY
3:30 HE PLAYED WE HATE RUSSELL YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Yes
like wow. zany man
He said NOOO to drugs .... (just once)
come to greece immediately!!!!
Great music!!!!!!!!
He didn't give it away, it was passed to him, and he passed it back haha.
''Would you like to watch me injure a frenchman?'' That just seriously cracked me the fuck up.
their music shares insanity in a very different way.
Anyway if youve ever listened to both well you ll here within their styles they use quite different tricks to manipulate their beats. What makes VS is very different from what makes AFX.
I LOVE M BOTH theyre big inspirations and i wanna bet they love eachothers music aswell.. For me Vsnares and AFX are way up there TOPNOTCH electronic music, same hight different style, both GENIUS
gonna listen to m till im demented and immobile
What's the song playing at 0:22?
he is a genious
