Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

Só quem não conhece o padrão das séries turcas é que fica surpreendido com este enredo em círculos. Os maus tardam a ser desmascarados, os bons são eternamente humilhados , vítimas de violência física e psicológica; nunca há beijo nem intimidade. Quem costuma ver, habitua-se ou desiste. Eu começo pelos comentários e, se não me agradarem, não perco tempo a ver... o que acontece 90% das vezes. Se a retomar daqui a 10 episódios, nada ou pouca coisa aconteceu de novo

Yes they can, because the whole purpose of the marriage is to have a child to carry on the family’s heritage. The guy didn’t offer her money she asked for it. Telling him the truth won’t affect anything just cause him to respect her because he already knows about her brother’s illness.

Dear Admin, a little advice you are not helping the views for this series. It is soooo boring, making only 2 episodes a week will kill this drama fast. Also can Turkish story tellers stop making the female leads so weak are Turkish women doormats why should every Turkish drama portray them as such. The husbands can't defend their wives. It's becoming so common among all the Turkish dramas I watch. If you've watched one, you can tell what will happen in the other. Make female leads strong. WE ARE TIRED OF TEARS

I swear this series is like watching paint dry!
We watch in the hopes that this story will advance quicker but it never does, we missed 2 full episodes last weekend and they might as well have missed this weekend too because nothing has happened.
Hancer infuriates me, she does not come across as innocent and naive she just comes across as weak stupid and pathetic, she has basically married the guy for money to have a baby for him yet they hardly say two words to each other, Derya, Beyza and the Mother-in Law have more screentime that Cihan and Hancer. I don't get why she is so secretive, why doesn't she just tell Cihan the truth?
Now we have the angry Cihan back, all that is missing is him bursting out of his clothes and turning green, no doubt he will kick her out of the house again, until he learns the truth and he go fetch her back.
Writers please think outside the box, come up with something original and read the comments on here, it will give you some idea of how your drama series is doing, this one is flopping.
I really wished #Kanal7 would cancel this show or make it a daily series, it viewers must be dropping off along with the ratings.
They just canceled good series piece of crap like this would go on forever 😮
You can loose your viewers in this situation because it's not worth waiting.,the entillegent man of the holdings will only believe on nusret slanderous games feed by his equally criminal daughter and sister Mukader. He should investigate it further because there is no crime commited here it cannot stand the court. Let Engin investigate it.

The one issue I have with this series that is so exasperating besides, all the tactics used that is obvious and predictable like tripping and being caught, is the slow-motion pace of Hancer in responding to Cihan's questions and her slow-motion movement like giving a piece of paper to Cihan's mom. Everything she does is on this slow-motion pace. If Hancer is so innocent why hold back the truth about her brother and why she wants money for the marriage deal as well as telling Cihan who the guy was that she was talking to her outside her house. Hancer makes the marriage relationship worse than what it is.
