I can't tell you how thrilled I was to scroll through all of the VORW playlist and see them all lined up to listen to in order, thank you John.
I'm in the Houston area and we got 57 inches of rain! We didn't flood, thank goodness, but a few friends were not as lucky. The experience was exactly as you said. I've been through many hurricanes, and leaving for anything cat 3 and above is sound advice.
Hey, any chance of the RUclips VORW's being picked up again? You could maybe even start a new channel for them if they're messing up your flow on this channel, subscriber-wise. The shortwave/Soundcloud VORW's are okay, but that 1 hour time limit (mixed in with a lot of music) are really inhibiting lengthy topic discussion. I miss the RUclips 2-3 hour free talks (+ mail). Just hoping that maybe VORW will come back to here, if even on a new channel.

Thanks for the advice about shortwave radios, I've been looking into purchasing one myself! I think it's exciting to scan through the shortwave stations and see what's out there.

@@hunter-ws8sx I did! Back in 2017 I bought a Tecsun PL-660 and I still have it. I'm very happy with it! Lots of VORW broadcasts picked up on it.

Preheat the oven to 500 and open it for 60 seconds. Close it, let it heat back up, and open it again. Repeat until warm. This also helps in the winter lol.
I listened to this while I was doing my homework and I enjoyed it a lot, it was really pleasant and interesting. I'm going to look into the short wave radio models that you listed and I will hopefully purchase one in the near future so that I can listen to your podcast!

The VORW really needs to come back. I understand if Reviewbrah doesn’t want to do them as frequently, but I think a lot of his viewers really enjoy them and would love to see them continued.

Hey reviewbruh, you may not see this comment, but would you consider putting your podcasts on Spotify? It would be awfully convenient to just put in my headphones on the bus and listen for 20 mins. I am pretty busy, so I can only listen to these podcasts in chunks. I’ve seen someone put a whole one hour comedy special on Spotify, but they just cut it up into 15-20 min chunks. Please consider this, thank you :)

cant go anywhere i houston right now its still flooded by me thankfully i found a better job next to my house the day before harvey started....salut to you brah for addressing this disaster
Melatonin does work, but your body makes less of it as you build a dependence on oral intake. And the dreams are a bit too vivid for me. OTC antihistamine sleep aids knock me out into dreamless sleep but leave me feeling drowsy all the next day. Best imo is a warm drink and quiet, restful period before sleep.
