PROPER NO NONSENSE EVIL HANDLING NUTTER FAST BIKES AND THE NORTONS SPIT THREE-FOOT FLAMES ON THE OVERRUN FRAGGIN AWESOME STUFF I WAS THERE TO SEE THIS LIVE.
This cooked my head watching it....if you've ever listened to Toby Moody commentary you would bet your life that its him commentating on this! Its quite uncanny to be fair.
Owning a kitted RC30 with the self started removed, as was the RC 30 of Steve Chambers, from personal experience I know how difficult that V4 is to bump start when hot!
@@Norton1531 swept volume not just the combustion cycle, if a 4 cylinder 1000cc motorcycle capacity was measured in the same way that Norton measured their engine the engine capacity would only be 250cc for the combustion cycle as the 1000cc four cylinder engine will only be firing on one cylinder at a time, the Norton swept volume was 588 x3 approx.
No quick shifters no auto blippers no traction control no anti wheelie no launch control, just skill, brilliant racing.
Great Racing & the sound of the Norton is like no other Bike 👍
Nation on the Norton at the NW was something that has always stayed with me, the noise and the smell of the Norton flat out was wild😮
Love watching old British Super bikes and Carl "Foggy" Fogarty.
My first sports bike was a ZXR400 with Ray Stringer Sabre Airways paint job. A beauty before I hit a lamp post. Thanks for the video 👍

Great to watch during 3rd lockdown. Great racing by great riders.
Stop paying attention to that bull shit. Lockdown ffs
Real men, on real bikes, no traction control and 130 bhp. Just brilliant.
Well said!!!!
Only 130. It's basically 600 with worse power delivery. Thank God modern BSB is so much better
1 always hated that rpm limiter rev..it seems a bit out of control.
It's amazing how this circuit looks so wide and big compared to with the modern bikes that are so fast the circuit just becomes a blur
I was actually there for this race day.and i still ride.
Ah .........the good old days, when having rivets on the palms of your gloves was thought to be a good idea..
F1: Yawn.
Superbike: On the seat of my pants.
POOP..ME TINKS 🤣🤣🤣
Yawn is your stupid comment 🙄🙄
I was there at mallory park dont know what year it was though i was standing at gerrards

It's Barry Nuttley l think, when Walker was racing his head would almost explode with over excitement.

I Marshalled this race at Esses In... Marshalled Mallory for 23 Years
...This is 1991, Correct?
89 or 90 were the years that Rymer won race of the year at Mallory. Think this 1990
It shows you how the wrong this commutator is by saying the Nortons got no chance because of the many corners on this circuit
bit silly since the Norton was over twice the engine capacity of the Yamaha
@@georgebarnes8163 Eh? Are you saying the Norton was bigger than a 1500cc?
@@Norton1531 Yes
@@georgebarnes8163 How? I always thought it was classed as 588cc?
