Looking forward to some great content. With the government's push towards the total electrification of everything I'm not so sure that any mass produced vehicle will be an investment unless it is very rare.
Good to see you moving to workshop based projects , RD at last , i know what you mean about the prices of them now . Look forward to viewing your restorations .
When the 125 'L plate' law was introduced in the UK I bought a lovely RD 200 with Micron exhausts and 125cc side panels fitted.....then did my bike test on it. It was the fastest 125 around ;) ;)
Brilliant video for 2021 Martin - Great to see a new one up and am looking forward to watching everything you’re going to be doing this year. Happy new year - all the way from Scarborough UK mate !
Wow lots of new projects.. I'm the same I got a new part in to fix something and had to get another as I can't find it.. looks like 2021 is going to be a great year for the channel.. stay safe mate
I first started to watch you when you was doing Jimmy's runner 50cc I've not been about for abit Ive Come back to RUclips and you got loads of bikes again lol I've always liked watching you keep up the good work mate 👍
Happy new year i do like your investments santa was good to you i must of been bad as i got nothing but a headache looking forward to seeing the mopeds and trotter van getting done
Now we are talking. love the channel but really looking forward to the bike restores, particularly the Bandits. That exhaust, should you decide to change it on the 1200 is peaking my interest :)
Battery ratchet awesome tool. Try looking in projects man shed that caliper might be in there😆. Or should I say pooject man 😆. I remember riding a RD 80 , back in the 80's it had a white tank . Nice Suzuki to the collection 👍
this is going to be a fantastic year for the channel, cant wait martin,as to cost of the bikes easy one it was a fair price eh lol.........all the best for the new year..............dougie
Can't wait for the pc resto, i had a grey J reg one as my 1st moped, then passed my test on a RD125, had a Rd 200, And finally a RD 400, love the air cooled RD's, but i habker after a Suzuki GT 125/ 185 but none seem to be about at the moment ,
Happy new year Martin and to the family keep up the great work and thanks for the awesome content stay safe and take care and can’t wait to see the future video
More beautiful bikes Martin. The amount of interest you get at the bank these day's, you're doing the right thing. Don't forget to give me a shout for the flywheel / timing tool when you do the Mobylette. Take care, Jeff
@@retrorestore Sorry Martin forgot to mention, I think mine was about 2 degrees BTDC, but your model might be different. If you need any parts, the best place would be Brian Aplins of Bristol. He has run his shop originally his dad's since the late 50s. They only used to sell Raleigh and Mobylette moped. He knows absolutely everything about them. Take care, Jeff
You'll love the Fazer , bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing, you'll be surprised how quick and nimble it is,it''ll have the banny 12 in a straight line! not much difference in power between them , the Fazer weighs a lot less....it thrives on revs though , the banny is all torque. Got an old RD400 i'm restoring at the mo, allspeeds on it, sounds great.
Looking forward to you starting on the mopeds Marin 😊 and the other bandit you've just got looks a pretty serious machine ! That's got to be my favourite of the 3 bikes 👍take it steady on that one young man 😄
nice lot martin was never into bikes but glued your and garys channel would love an fs1e or a bsa bantam though even with cv this year be a belter on your channels
I invested in a small motorcycle lift table so I can put me Vespa back on the road so will be doing some vids on simple Vespa tasks like rear shock change, cabling, wheel changes as I got aftermarket alloys for mine and set my timetable for about March to have the ol' girl mot'd up and riding again. Lets hope this time it won't be vandalised outside and gonna have a cctv aimed right at it this time round lol
You just know it's going to end up as rocketman, or pocketman before spring..... I mean, this is we have kids, to troll them and keep them on their toes ... 📠
Love the bikes. Great investment ideas. Will you be using Gary's tunnel to do the fixings? My old Triumph was much louder than that new bike. Great video.
@retrorestore Looking forward to the upcoming videos on those bikes! I need a bit of help with how to set up my coffee business as that’s something I’m aiming to do this year. Where do I start and which van do I go for?
Classic cars have to, but I have a feeling it’s because of COVID, people didn’t holiday or not as much this year, money burning a hole in there pocket so they invested it bikes and cars. I do expect the prices to level out or get less. But my way of thinking is if you like the vehicle does it matter.
Polish Dominator 4:38 exhaust, loud and proper. Had the same on my bike very good quality, I will leave it with Dominator. In my opinion, too many bikes Martin focus on one only, too much space taken.
That ratchet just looks like a Milwaukee here across the pond! You have a lot of projects...seems like you have your year planned out already 😂😂 For some reason never figured you to be obsessed with bikes and scooters. Hope all is well 🤙🏻🔧🇺🇸🦅
What a coincidence my first ever bike which i also passed my test on was a red RD 200 R reg (77) fetching good money on ebay. No way you can get those bikes in the log cabin ? Stay safe. 👍😀
"Investment", great word to keep our missus's off our case.I always use it to reduce grief. Cheers Mart ;-)
By the looks of it it's going to be a busy year 👍👍👍👍
@retrorestore Hi Martin thanks for the maskes and the stickers I feel quite honoured you have made my year 👍
Glad you like them!
Happy New year to you all can't wait to see all the new content
Happy new year Simon
Its great seeing life breathed into old bikes Martin, this year I hope to put my GL1000KZ that i bought back in 79' back on the road 😀
Sounds great!
Looking forward to some great content. With the government's push towards the total electrification of everything I'm not so sure that any mass produced vehicle will be an investment unless it is very rare.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you and your family had a BEAUTIFUL Christmas Holiday!

Lovely 1200N. Always wanted one of them. I used to have a KH250 when I was 17. Fab bikes.

Thanks 👍
You are going to be a busy boy in 2021 👍👍
All you need now is a fazer thou and you will have the full set.... the thou being the cream of the crop.
The Yam 200 will be 5he best investment by far, I'd say. The market for all those 70s and 80s two strokes is on fire 🔥.
I don’t have time or skills to do these sort of restorations so I’m excited to watch you. Can’t wait! Always interesting. Happy New Year!
Glad you like them!

Happy new year , my first bike was a rd 50 trials. Looking forward to your vids as always in 2021 👍
Thanks Rick, all the best bud.

Are you talking about the dial gauge Jeff as I have one of those. I think the timing is 5 deg btdc, does that sound correct.
Hi Martin, no it safely pulls the magneto flywheel off and then once inside it pulls the timing cam off.

Great stuff Dave.
Wow Martin, nice bikes. That jacuzzi would fair better outside than them bikes, they will soon start to look grotty, even under breathable covers.
Its only temporary Dave
Wow Martin ! This is so cool ! Funny, Im not familiar with the Bandits, but they are beautiful ! 👍👍
Yes they are
Nice rd my work mate had the rd 200 but in orange and look better with black wheels

Fs1e's are silly money now Chris.
Love all the bikes u got
Nice bikes Martin! I think you may need to extend the log cabin before you restore these classic bikes though!😃😃👍
That's the plan!
Great stuff some great things coming up carnt wait I love old mopeds 👍👌👏
nice one martin, am not a bike person by a long shot but i will still be watching, have to build round that polly tunnel now you have a squatter lol

RD 200 looks a lot better in yellow and black, spray it.

Had a red P reg Bandit about 17 years ago. Paid £1200 for it and when I traded it for my Z750 2 years later I got £1000 for it👍
I would love a Yamaha TDR250 but they have sky rocketed in price.

Later this year you'll see one of these bikes apart for restore because Martin knows, "It just ain't right, mate."
i got a bandit 1200 i think there the better one to have out of the 600 and 1200 is more a smoother ride
