    Should have stuck it on the piece of trim above facing down so the led strip wouldn't be visible when it's off.

    • @marcogarofalo6343
      @marcogarofalo6343 2 года назад +4

      Yes or at least stuck on the wall side facing out so they actually illuminated the stairs instead of just blinding people

      L-shaped tile edging would be perfect. Attach the LED strip to the underside of the profile so it shines downwards onto the stairs instead of upwards.

    Hello. Love the video as its gave me an understanding of what I need to do. Quick question please... how did you get your internal channel inside your skirting? Or do you know the best way to it?? Thanks in advance 👍🏻

    Nice work. What kind of connector did you use in the corner?

    • @thespecialist786
      @thespecialist786  4 года назад +2

      @Steven Flosi - Thank you for watching my channel and your kind comments. I did not use a connector because connector with time catch rust and moisture and stop working. I solider all my joints with using a 0.5sq wire.

      This Led strip a 12v with high 14watts per meter so due to the heat I am using the aliminum corner profile as conductor to release heat and looks nice. I should use a smoky effect diffuser aswell.
      Simple and effective result. Please subscribe to my channel. I have excellent bathroom Led lighting coming in few days on my channel. Just added Kitchen Led lighting strip video. Please Check it out.

    I wish you would have shown how you connected the items. And yeah, shouldn't you have a sensor at the bottom of the stairs, as well?

    • @thespecialist786
      @thespecialist786  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your comment, I will make another video for you and show what you have asked. There is no need for me to use a sensor at the bottom because my staircase is not that steep, as soon as I enter the stairs at the bottom the PIR sensor range is so strong that the lights turn ON. If your stair case is long and bending then it’s right to have two sensors.

    Thanks

    • @thespecialist786
      @thespecialist786  4 года назад +5

      @Neil Wilkinson - ofcourse, The sensor is effectively a switch so you will need to run a seprate wire for that but yes all is possible.

    • @thespecialist786
      @thespecialist786  3 года назад

      @Ryan H - Thank you so much for your comments. Yep you can connect them directly to a switch for sure. Try to use a profile that will dissapate the heat depending if you use 12v or 24v and how many lumens and leds are per meter. The more leds per meter means more brightness and more power. Good luck 🤞! Please subscribe I have some good videos coming shortly. Also watch my kitchen led install I done from my other videos where I used Loox.
