I think we all saw a little bit of complacency, a little bit of fatigue, a little bit of anxiety and the compounding effect of what’s happening to our team right now. Tuchel, return to your usual 3:4:3 formation. Your defense needs help from the Wing Backs. You don't have players for 4:3:3 formation... your front 3 are not dynamic.

The use of wings backs helps stabilize the defense, absorbs shock in terms of counter attack, at the same time add impetuous to the attack. 3:4:3 formation is our best since TT took over and it fetched us European Glories.

Ye it's kind of a mental thing.. As Tuchel said obviously losing doesn't help because there's the side of the coin that says we get belief and morale from killing a game like this early on and go into the Madrid game on a high.. What everyone knows but no one really pointed out tho is that international breaks are rough on the squad because players are kinda unsettled, and when you come back to play a team like Brentford straightaway it's not the easiest job to do.. Hopefully we will dig deeper and find the solutions on Wednesday tho 💙

Some of the squad just aren't good enough, I'm not dwelling on today bit feel with James in and kova and back to a three five two things would of been different. Alonso so bad defending, loftus far too slow and no positional sense or edge to his game, Werner hard to watch these days like when we had morata and Torres no confidence always plays the easy option however fair play to Brentford organized Christian erickksen was immense as was mbuemo and Henry. And that's the thing with this league there is no easy games and today it didn't happen. But I do feel tuchel has been a breathe of fresh air to this club. Probably my fave Chelsea manager of all time. Such a class act we just need to add more bite in the summer left side up top and keep improving

I haven't laughed so hard after Rudi's goal or for so long... even still chuckling after the equalizer... right up until Eriksen stopped it dead 😏 That was some peavish play by our boys. Looked like they were pretty pissed off with each other. One more thing - Kai *nearly* had a really good game. But he needed a strike partner who runs the channels with him. I could *almost* see that player running into those positions, playing the one-twos... but then I blinked and he wasn't there. He was resting up on the bench. No one had a good game, but Timo's gone beyond an empty kit into a full blown liability. Also, please never play a back 4 again. All I can say is I hope they decide to come back from vaykay before Tuesday.
