FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR THIS EXACT PETCOCK!!!! IT IS PART NUMBER 15R-24500-00-00!!!! IT IS NOW AN OBSOLETE PRODUCT!!!! What you want instead is a 33M-24500-00-00. I can't find a rebuild kit for my 15R, so I'm guessing I have to buy a new 33M.

Contact Len at xj4ever.com - it is The best place to get most stuff for these bikes. The site's pretty simple, and sometimes items aren't shown -- like this rebuild kit. His email is info@xj4ever.com - just tell him what you're looking for. You pay via paypal, and he sends parts really fast. It should be item #HCP6060. You can find a description in the forums, here: xjbikes.com/forums/threads/xj-parts-catalog-section-c-fuel-system.44642/page-2 . Hope that helps!
Hey, thanks for the video. I just subscribed and plan on checking out the rest of the videos. I am doing a 1982 650 Maxim. I bought the rebuild kit on Amazon. It didn't come with that fuel line port gasket (that you didn't need for the 750). If you still have it, I'll paypal you 5 bucks plus shipping. 👍🙏 Thanks again for a great video!
Where do you get the rebuilding kit for the Pitcock?

Looks like the same one on my Seca, which is pissing gas like a bastard. Good to know it looks doable!

Best thing to do with a vacuum petcock is sling it and fit a standard one. Those things are an absolute liability.
Can I get some part #'s . I got rebuild kit from K&L but it didn't come with the new screen...

What position should my petcock be in when parked, there’s no “off”? I’ve an ‘81 Virago XV750
Should be on, it's a vacuum feed so as long as the bike isn't on gas won't flow
Where did you get the rebuild kit been looking for one for mine for awhile now
