Thank you for this helpful video! I have recently chosen to be in charge of the google scholar in a university that I worked at. I would like to ask you if the citation from the private account has completely moved into the public account that you chose? Thanks in advance!

It will take a while but eventually the citations will move over. In my case, I found it is not perfect so there are a few (mostly older citations) missing in the new account

I would like to know what happens with the h-index, citations, publications when merging two profiles for the same author. Thanks!

Good question Theona. I have not experienced any immediate change on my profile for h-index. I noticed the citation count has gone up slightly after merging the two profiles.

Thank you for this helpful vedio. My problem is the first google scholar is created by the email of the university which i leave it, and it will delete my account, lam asking if there is away to change the “sign in gmail “ to the second email?

Yes, if you go into the Google Scholar "Edit Profile" (sign in with your univ. email) you can change the verified email to another address. Hope this helps.
