"can it run crysis?" - linus
Mike Slammers can it run minesweeper at 8k 144fps?
Who makes the custom Isolinux Boot Strap and custom routng engion for 3d torus.
Sun microsystems, lead the .com bubble of the late nineties, Honestly they did!!!
wow what is the name of the song playing during the video?????
Mixture of both, the more CPU's per mainboard (most I've ever personally seen to 1 bored is 6) depending on the processor it can process more in one cycle than a normal CPU. I wouldn't doubt it if some super computers run at4GHz + stock.
But can it run minesweeper?
I'm curious, what's the defining line that seperates a normal computer from being a super computer? Is it how many calculations it can do per second, how many processors it has on one motherboard, or something else?
Direwolf56 We dont tell how fast an sc that way, we count the total flops per sec
That is a good question, yet I don't think it is a 'fixed' number, and is more a relative to what exists at the time. there was a time a CRAY2 was a supercomputer of sorts (1.9 GFLOPS peak performance), yet many years later in around 1998, PC CPUs were arguably in the 2 GigaFLOPs range (pushing 4 opps per cycle at around 550MHz or so). Thing is, a Supercomputer in 1998, wasn't defined by having more than 1.9 GigaFLOPS, it was defined by having "orders of magnitude more than a single PC", to be able to do simulations that would take a single PC CPU decades to do. That kind of carries over to today when intel had been stuck on 4 core at around 4GHz CPUs for around 10 years or so on consumer PCs, and supercomputers keep getting more and more nodes with more cores (to keep moving the decimal point of the GigaFLOPS number). back in 1999, someone at Cray did have a funny definition of a Supercomputer that also is fitting, "A supercomputer is a machine that is one generation behind what you really need to do the simulations you want to run on it", lol.
A single modern 2017 GPU has more compute power than a whole rack of this supercomputer.
@Tyler Walker You can play games with out grafics its just horribly laggy
now you can play minecraft at render distance high
submitted data to this very computer......and all i have so far is........."we are working on more priority equations " so we're in the queue.
but will it run minesweeper
seeing as how minecraft is only a single threaded application, I think it would be useless to try and run it on a machine with 47,232 cpu cores as it will only use one of them.
Will this run minecraft?8
but can it run minecraft?
Did anyone else find Waldo? ⚪️🔴
"You are bring watched "
i dont believe so, mainly because its not a normal computer, it computes infornmation and sends it to you computer, where your GPU processes it into an image, this supercomputer has no GPU, therefore it cant play any games :)
Plays sminesweeper using that super computer maximum fls 2
I had to save up for 6 months to purchase 2 xeons.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:5, Jesus Christ is the only way, KJV....
Those Sun cabinets are kinda ugly.
