Every reaction I've watched has someone saying "Just go to a gift shop!" I admittedly know nothing about Korea, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that they don't have Walmart type stores open at all hours like we do in the U.S., so maybe the only option he had at that time was the arcade.
Just a little tip, the currency they use in the drama are Wons which is the currency of S. Korea when he said you owe 160M and 255M more is wons, not million dollars (is a pretty big amount anyway) 1 Dollar = 1194,94w so he owe around 347,296$
