Unfortunately those roof covers are really not that great. The ones from Evannex are MUCh better and actually reflect away the heat/sun. Nice setup though!
Hi David, we got the extra fabric at a Kraft store. And we used regular magenta to attach it to the back, however the trunk part of the back isn’t magnetic so the extra fabric has to be long enough to reach to the metal part of the body 👍🏼
It did a decent job… it wasn’t a real stress test since the weather was beautiful. If your still plugged into a standard outlet I wouldn’t worry about any battery drain.

It is actually surprisingly easy. We just seal the hole up with the magnets/Velcro... we probably will purchase more magnets to keep the seal tight.

Cool setup, does the hvac help cool the tent at all?
It did! We didn’t get to put it through a full test as it was beautiful outside, but we did notice a difference.

How does the Mode Y do cooling and heating the tent with the rear hatch open?

We did! Everything you see here fit inside with room to spare.
