They are actually quite easy to fix. You can get a "Eyeglasse Screw Extractor Puller" off of Ebay for around 20$-30$. This will push the pin out, and allow you to put the new one in. There are a few videos on how to do it. You can watch the Linegear video. But, they charge like 80$ for the same thing you can get on ebay to do it. You would just need to order the nosebridge rubber piece and the rivets.
A wonderful video...Im such an Oakley fan...I adore your collection...Please can you tell me,are Romeos or juliet xx a bit more comfortable or the temples push in much like the normal juliets?
I own 3 juliet, 1 squared and 2 magswitch. All original. With the juliet the rivets on the nose bridge are a pain. Really. Wearing them every day and in one year, the bridge will go loose. I have a Japanese kit to replace them, but it's a precise work. You must pay attention. Now the price are incredible. I own a Ducati juliet, I think we are reaching now 1000€.... The replica if builded correctly can be useful. I just bought a Romeo replica (called Ethan, from the CANRAE company) Once in my hand I'll post a complete review. Ps: the CANRAE model, seems exactly the same. Thay are builded using also torx screw, and this is rare.
Hi, i'm very intrested to buy some replicas to verify if they are that good, and then maybe buy a real pair of juliets; can you link me from who you buy those replicas? thanks
I feel like the difference of the X-Metal original vs. replica/fake pairs is like looking at a person with naturally good looks vs. a person who's done botox to look better. Although the 2nd person might look better, there's something that doesn't feel right about it.
You are a collector and you don't know what metal the Oakley Juliet are made off? Also pronouncing it "Joliet"... You can Google it for pronunciation. Geez...
@@flamaest Hi Fabian!!... A ultimate question... You would buy an original 1999 Juliet with the slightly worn polarized lenses for 165 dollars... Or some replicas... Like Juliet or X Square plasma ice iridum?...

It’s a not hard to say wich one is original and wich one is replica……At all…? Wearing all my x metal glasses on daily basis and never will put any replica on my head instead……I don’t really understand the purpose of this video, to be honest…..There is no " almost perfect " replica of x metal series, btw…..
I appreciate the video, but it doesn’t help to know how good of a replica you found if we don’t know where to buy.. Is there a link you can provide?
Jollyettes!!!!???? C'mon man
Foakley Jollyettes
Please,it’s juliet as in Romeo and Juliet.
LOL exactly what I was thinking hahaha
can you send a link to where one can find the bottom left pair of glasses? Thank you
I have the original Juliets and it's a pain to have the rivets removed to replace the rubber gaskets, I wish the originals had screws instead.
