I love all your road trip thrift hauls!! It's always fun to find new haunts :) Also thanks for all your booth 101 videos! Love and subscribed from a kindred MI booth owner :)
When you buy a set of dishes or glassware like the Desert Rose, do you just pitch the chipped or broken ones, or do you put them in your booth too? It's always a conundrum for me.......Is it better to put out items in odd-numbered sets-3, 5, 7, etc, in perfect condition, or do you put the chipped or broken ones out too? Should I just throw them away? I usually only put out items in pristine condition when it comes to glassware and dishes. What does everyone think and what do you do in your booth?
I have sold sets with chips. If there is BIG damage I will throw that piece out...but an extra saucer or two I will leave in. I usually don't figure in the "bonus" chipped pieces in price. Like a set for 4 with two extra chipped plates. Hope that helps. Sometimes people buy the sets for crafts and not even for serving...
The manager at a thrift I pick several times a week told me they decided to raise the prices because resellers like me were buying all the good stuff and making huge profits. I was shocked by her attitude. Over the course of a year I spend about $1000. What a great haul. I thought sure you would buy a piece of furniture.
I regret not buying that vanity. There was also a set of dressers I probably should have gotten...but I get most of my furniture free curbside...so I have a hard time buying it...
That stinks. They get the stuff for free... why does it matter who buys it as long as they are the money they are asking and no harm or crime is involved 🤔
The green sewing machine was neat.
I loooooooooved those lamps! :)
I liked the "ugly" lamps!
Thank you for showing the best of the best. The way you make your videos are very enjoyable! 😉 from the other side of the state!🤗
Glad you like them!
The Fiesta pitcher was a great find....
So many good finds! Love the McCoy cookie jar & the dog figurines.
Our Goodwill shelves have been bare also but the things that are there are so overpriced it's ridiculous
So many good things
Surprised that you didn't buy the elf sitting on the frog. It was adorable. Great haul!!
I did. It broke in the cart...but I am keeping it for myself and will glue the small piece back on. Yep the elf was super cute.
The last 2 thrift stores had a great selection. Such a good haul of items. I'm glad you got the mini ice cream cones!!!
there is also a goodwill on Reynolds rd and there shelves were full when I went there last week
Thank you. I will check it out. I haven't been to all the Toledo stores, yet...someday!

In the 2nd store you said the lamp shade was not for the lamp. In the late 70s I had 3 ginger jar lamps with those exact type of shades.
Good to know. Thank you for the correction. It looked long for the lamp, but thank you so much.
Good deals. Ohio is a good picking area for me too.
What a great haul! I appreciate that you share where you are thrifting. I hope to get to some of these stores one day.
You should!
Like this too in Texas
The dogs were a great find!
Your pink depression glass dish was pink Adam pattern by Jeanette Glass. It's a divided rish dish. You found some great items!
I love depression glass, but I am not an expert. I really appreciate the information. It is a beautiful piece.
@@theturnedleg you may not be an expert but you have an "eye"!

@@theturnedleg Our city forbids curbside shopping. Everything must go to the landfill. So sad.

@@cheyneycoleman1631 And most of their customers are resellers. They make most of their money from us.
