One of my favourite Disney Videos logo and that one was much more friendly and amusing to watch with that bouncing animation! The first time that I saw this logo was on my Pocahontas and Pinocchio VHS back in 1995!

John Sachs who does the voiceover is the son of Fawlty towers actor Andrew Sachs in case you didn't know. John is one of the greatest voiceover artists

Oh right! I knew the VO sounded familiar; he was the commentator on UK Gladiators!

I made a few lines of my own
1: Keep watching after the main feature, for exciting new releases from Disney Videos"
2: "Stay tuned after the main feature, for exciting new releases from Disney Videos"
3: "Keep watching after the main feature, for news of exciting new releases, coming soon from Disney Videos"

Trivia: the first VHS to have these idents was The Return of Jafar in 1995, and the final VHS was The Little Mermaid II in 2001. Coincidentally both Disney direct-to-video sequels.

It's not that big of a coincidence considering the sheer volume of Disney sequels that came out during that time.

One Question: who play a narration voiceover on Disney Videos?

    • @tppercival5295

+Albehar Zogaj John Sachs. He's the main voiceover for Disney VHS Promos and Trailers.

Then there's another voice who has done voice acting in other media too than Disney promos.

Not John Sachs any more, Albehar Zogaj. I, Peel P50, plays the narration voice-over for Disney Videos.
